For the record, this fight really hard counters some of Emily's best spells (Burst of Glory, Sunlance).

Emily stays at your side and follows along as she murmurs a few words and...

I'm going to be a bit planning out Emily's turn, so if you have any suggestions, feel free. This is a tough spot for her.

Problem is that it's all ST damage and she's looking for MT damage, but her main gimmicks there are stoppered.

"Are you alright," Emily's at your side.

"Nothing I can't heal with a spell. I was hoping the protection from the plane would dampen their attacks, but alas. I knew I had a way to escape, it's why I didn't teleport into them. I wanted to save it for an escape if I needed to."

[Anastasia]

"Yeah," Jarem drifts on down, "I was fighting to hold them for you two to blast them. What happened?"

To this Emily sighs, "Sunlance wouldn't work on them, nor would Burst of Glory. They're too aspected to light and positive energy. I really need to learn a spell like that, one that isn't tied to that. Maybe like Cleansing Rain, but without the sacrifice. Sorry."

"Don't apologize," Jarem says, "Learn from it, that's an apology that will mean something in the future."

"I have one I can teach you. Or suggest. But later for now. I'll have to design something for blinding light. Though, I should have taken the chance to test if my spell would have effectively attacked with the blades without my sight... It's designed to be automatic, but I've never considered testing it that way before..."

[Anastasia]

"Oh,. I know the answer to that. It's called Vision of the Omniscient Eye," Emily quickly pipes up, "I can teach it to you later, it only lasts for a half hour or so, so it's not practical to cast once, you have to keep reapplying it. Mom likes using her ability to change and manipulate magic directly to mimic it."
