Moore huffs. He really needs to learn to cast Knock.

WHAM! WHAM! WHAM!

A series of blows tears the door down, knocking it off its hinges and sending it rattling to the ground. Ahead is a roughly circular room, filled with piles of gold atop woven rugs. Great urns and pots teem with more gold, treasure chests crusted with gemstones spill out yet more. Weapons hang on the walls, scimitars crossed with one another. There's a door at the far end here.

"Showing off," Xandra says, very quietly. "Impressing visitors with a casual display of efreeti wealth."

"One does not leave their hoard undefended," Kaja concurs, "A pretty symbol and a pretty trap."

To determine if there's magical traps, traps, and if any of this is even real or just an elaborate illusion.

If it's not actually trap-trapped, then how much at a glance it'd be worth. We can stop for a second to just throw it all into my bag.

The coins and treasure all trapped with a curse. Anyone who takes one will suffer ten misfortunes and calamities. The treasure is real, though, but ti's an impressive and powerful curse, perhaps divine in nature.

[Nephrite]

So it'd require a wish-level spell to remove, more or less?

[Anastasia]

Yes.

[Nephrite]

"We'll come back for this. There's a curse on all of it, I'm sure everyone here is shocked." Moore says. "If we have time, i think I can at least transport it somewhere to get around the curse and we can deal with that later. Anyway, onward."

Moore will go to the next door and try it -- even though he's pretty sure it's just locked too.

It's not locked, you can easily open it if you wish to.

[Nephrite]

Moore opens the door, fully expecting to be attacked by something when he does so. Or an explosion. Either or.

Is the text for that smaller than usual or is it just me?

Also, evasion or improved evasion in play?

I keep forgetting if I put evasion with the roll it just removes it...

Moore leaps back as black nothingness is ahead, attempting to suck him in. Yet he's able to leap back, get out of the range of it and avoiding being drawn to it.

That rather resembles a sphere of annihilation on a glance. Most likely touching it or going into it would be exceptionally unwise.
