What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Anastasia

Somewhere above you, roughly speaking. A bit further ahead, too.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Yuthirin

'This is ridiculous.' Tryll says, slumping his way up over Dana.

"No fuckin' shit it is," Dana growls, "These fucking cockholsters have a real fucking lousy way of greeting guests."

Benyen laughs a little at that, "Well, we're making headway, at least. Once we can fly again this'll be simple."

"Dana's getting more inventive." Calleigh stage-whispers to Miranda.

Meanwhile, Tryll sets up a fiery energy wall next to the area of sleet. 'The source is somewhere above and ahead of us. Can't get a good read on it from this distance. I'll keep trying though. Once we get close enough, I'll bore straight to it.'

How much damage does the wall output?

Before your flames, the sleet storm melts and the blue ice becomes a runny puddle, the way ahead cleared.

"Neat!" Calleigh says, clambering up Dana's side and into the tunnel.

"Let's go," Dana declares, as everyone starts to move.

Going deeper then?

Yes, moving on. Preferably toward the source of this obnoxious spell.

Down the tunnel all of you slide. This time it ends in a graceful bottom, the ice tunnel turning mostly translucent. Here the frigid waters of the river surround you, held at bay only by thick ice. Ahead is a small cavern of sorts, wherein nothing but some icy and stony rubble lies. There's no passages from here - is it a dead end?

True Seeing is active still!

In the center of the room is a faint, invisible outline engraved into the floor, some sort of circle pattern. It's partially covered by icy debris.

'Some sort of tune on the floor here.' Tryll says, inching closer for a look.
