Arrow after arrow flies true, plunging into the riders. Three arrows send a rider tumbling off his mount, two more finishing off a second. Then with a whirl she draws one more arrow, flying true at a third rider. It pierces through his armor at his throat, punching straight through and sending a gush of blood out. A gurgling cry as he plummets off his steed, only two remaining.

"Damn," Benyen whistles, "Not bad. Let's go, Hell Striker!" The paladin rushes up, blade crackling with blue lightning as he charges, before plunging his blade and...

The fourth rider, armored and armed, brings up his blade to block - and the sword is cut in half, Benyen's blade erupting in holy power. He cleaves through him like nothing, upper body falling away as the rest remains mounted, gushing blood as Dana grins savagely. "Yeah, like fucking that! Hey rump humper, you got this shit or do I have to go up there?"

Debonah's gaze is firm as she eyes the last rider, "Saving one for me? How sweet," she retorts, firing off a volley of arrows faster than you can blink, arm and bow a blur.

And like that the last rider takes six arrows in the blink of an eye, slumped over on his rider. Some lie in the snow about and some are clinging to their steed in death, but the frozen horses turn and gallop away in the air, routing. You've won!

Clearing her throat, "Let us loot if we will and hurry. I doubt that will be the only patrol, and even if we slay the horses, I suspect they have magical means of communication."

"Oh boy, loot! Let's get 'em! I got a bag of holding for this!" Calleigh pats the bag at her hip.

Since time is a concern, how much are you going to loot? All that you can get or less than that?

Tryll will manifest Detect Psionics for the purposes of finding magical loot, and psionics can allow us to strip bodies quickly. Time Hop can make the object of our desire pop out of time. I don't see why a careful application wouldn't be able to just affect a dead body and not its equipment. It's no longer a person, after all.

Sure. You'll need to deduct the costs of Detect Psionics along with five Time Hops. Incidentally, they're too far apart for the augmentation to help here - they all fell from frozen horses in differing directions. Going to just grab magical loot?
