"Hi Ebony!" Marie looks like herself now, decked out in her usual attire rather than the Honey Belle guise. "Check us out, two divine proxies all set to lay down the word of Alicia! Exciting, isn't it?"

"It does feel a bit portentous, the three of us going out like this doesn't it?" Alicia agrees. "But prepare yourselves, we don't know what surprises might lay in store for us."

With that warning she opens a Gate to the sky over a thousand feet away from the peak of the mountaintop where Icerime Cathedral sits, gesturing for the other two to fly out ahead of her before she follows.

The moment the gate opens to the darkness of the night sky, you can feel it. Like a wound in reality, bleeding and leaking ahead. You can feel them, the vermin crawling from it, the wound slowly opening and closing, creatures surely passing from it regularly.

Ahead the cathedral is as Mystra showed it, looming high in the darkness. It's bitterly cold here, the air thin. Yet unlike your times in the Amaryl Ranges, you are beyond such needs and concerns.

[Ebiris]

"There's a great deal of fodder. You'll be ideal for removing those, Marie. Then we can focus on clearing out any greater threats and see about closing the dimensional breach. Whoever looks to be in charge try to take alive, we still need to follow this back to find their leader; Allema." With that Alicia begins to fly towards the cathedral, flanked by Marie and Ebony.

[Anastasia]

"We shall sweep them away and I will aid you to the utmost," Ebony says as you fly along. It's a classical cathedral - it has high towers ending in points, decorated with gargoyles. It has several stories and a courtyard, albeit with a closed drawbridge that connects to the peak of the mountain itself.

The courtyard is relatively empty, yet you see them. Large rats roam, diseased things the size of horses. They infest the stables, openly scurry about the courtyard, lording over the lesser vermin.

The three of them fly right over the courtyard. While she expects enough doors are open and walls broken to undermine the structure and provide egress for Marie's missiles, Alicia lends a helping hand anyway.

"I'll open the way, then you release your barrage Marie," she says, casting a spell that releases a wave of energy from her body, over-running the cathedral around them! In its wake any magical barriers are shattered and broken, before Marie raises a hand up as the dark night is lit up with dozens and dozens of missiles spiralling around her before lancing off in all directions to bombard the cathedral and spiral through windows and doors, arcing down hallways with each one set to unerringly strike a single invader down, no matter how small it may be!

Alicia casts Unbinding (180 foot radius, breaks any magical barriers/locks and stuff), Marie casts Sandalphon's Amazing Barrage (3100 foot radius, every creature gets a missile of its own).

Marie is like a nimbus of stars, countless amazing barrages blasting about. In an instant the courtyard is cleared, not a single vermin still moving amid it all. The ones crawling on the walls fall and plummet away, down to the mountain below.

[Ebiris]

"Casting that spell feels so good!" Marie gushes afterwards as the three descend down into the courtyard, Alicia leading the way to the main entrance of the cathedral proper.

[Anastasia]

You descend down. The doors to within are great doors of wood, where a warrior in armor can be seen standing against an entire army of rabid beasts.

[Ebiris]

Alicia actually goes and opens the doors rather than blasting them down. Ideally this place'll be cleaned up and re-sanctified later after all!

[Anastasia]

As you go, you can hear it. Ragged breathing, the chittering sound of vermin. The await you, just beyond the door.

Alicia's ready for them, and opens the door undaunted!
