You descend down, deeper and deeper. You descend to a bottom, lined with tiny holes and with you knee deep in the slain shadowwasps. A single passage is here, leading yet deeper, to the northwest.

Alicia chooses to float above the shadowwasps as she leads the way to the Northwest.

At least she got a direction early on so they didn't waste time with alternate passages and routes.
