Despite the wind you strike true, shadows destroyed in one great sweep of your blade.  The winds - stop, dying in an instant. Syala says not a word, continuing on as Latha lights the way ahead.

Alicia similarly advances on with grim silence. Once she's closer to directly above where she detected that telepathic taunter she can take more direct measures than just following the path.

Around the bend is a chasm - a straight drop going down. It is pitch black, only grudgingly retreating from Latha's radiance. Unworked stone goes down in every direction. Fire and ice can be seen running through the walls, turning a sickly green color where they intersect.

[Ebiris]

Well that's handy. "So down we go," Alicia says, beginning to descend and avoiding where fire and ice intersect, that green colour reminding her too much of Lixer's hellfire to trust her elemental protections against it.

[Anastasia]

Syala descends now, a sharp smile on her face. "I love this, daemon! I love being so strong that we advance fearlessly, no matter what you bring to bear. It makes me want to live!" Her voice is loud, a challenge called out. "I love knowing that you rot beneath us, impotent and pathetic, cowering as we inexorably approach!"

Latha proceeds onward last, keeping an eye on your rear above.

Ahh, that's the Syala she loves. Alicia smiles as her wife demonstrates her zest for life even in this dank pit of unlife. "Well said, my love."
