Family Reunion

[Anastasia]

Jarem nods and hurries away without a word, flying straight down.

Emily frowns, "Are you alright?" she asks, lingering just a moment. "Do you need any more healing or magic?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Later. My family, then the council."

Alyssa starts flying off as well.

[Anastasia]

You rush to your family's cottage. It is silent here, dark. No lights are on inside.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa enters stealthily, in case of ambush or trap.

[Anastasia]

Stealth check in that case.

You slip in soundlessly, finding nothing awry in the front of the cabin - but no one's here either, presumably sleeping in the back.

Alyssa takes a moment to cast detect magic just to be safe, and moves towards the bedrooms, wary of traps.

[Anastasia]

Your parents are fast asleep in bed, as is Alihana. Yet you can detect magic around Alihana.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa inspects the spell, trying to identify what it is and how strong.

[Anastasia]

It's faint magic. A simple cantrip - ah, an item. In her pocket you find it, a simple, color changing square of wood. The simplest trinket to make, what the most basic wizards make to practice the arts of magical creation.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa lets it be for now, going back out of the house as quietly as she came in. Once outside, she lets loose a sigh of relief and heads back to the Order proper to find out the aftermath and see if there was anything left behind by the shade that attacked her.

[Anastasia]

You find people are here. A trio of wizards, lead by Delaize. With him are two of Jarem's aides, inspecting the room along with them, chanting magic.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa looks around, striding up to Delaize.

"What's going on? How's the council? Shar attacked me directly. Used the Moon as a foci for a curse."

[Anastasia]

"Blasphemous," Delaize murmurs laconically. "Jarem roused us to investigate." He looks up at the light of the moon, "I believe Shar and Selune are enemies. What a curious thing. But regardless, we have not found anything save for fading signs of an incorporeal entity."
