"The more time she gives us, the stronger our position grows. Her call, I guess," Seira says disappointedly.

To Zariel, she sends, 'I'll be right there.'

Does Kascha have more fun stuff to tell me about her trip? Maybe about cool converts or a nice high-level priestess she ran across?

Anastasia

"Yes, she wasn't willing to commit yet," Kascha agrees with that, "I did some word spreading and I have some promising additions, Seira," Perking up at that, "Are you ready to hear about them?"

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"Yeah, I'm always up for that," Seira responds, even as her avatar looks in on Zariel to see just where she is. It should also tell her how urgently she wishes to speak.

Zariel is waiting in the woods near Amaryl's new church, sitting patiently in a small grove.

Kascha smiles, "Well, all of them need training of course so they'll be coming in soon. The first is," A rather ugly sound from Kascha, "I met him on Magma. He's an earth elemental and I call him, Crumbly for short, since it's much more pronounceable than what he uses as a name. He's fascinated by fire and water, he wants to learn about the other elements and he thinks 'fleshy dragons' sound interesting, too. He's unusually curious for an earth elemental, always considering and sometimes asking questions."

"Nice! We need more chatty elementals to shake things up around here!"

"I don't think he has the insight for the clergy, but maybe I'm wrong." Kascha admits, "If he is wise, he'd make a good priest, wouldn't he?" Humming and flexing a wing out, "The wisdom of the earth, accumulated over the ages."

"Maybe a warlock?" Seira proposes. "I've always thought their hyper focus would suit someone who didn't want to bother with the theory overmuch, and just manipulated the elements as they wished."

"Well, warlocks are almost always evil or chaotic. Maybe if I have him spend time with eladrins," Kascha suggests, "I'll make sure you know. Second is Fooze, a magma elemental from Magma. He - and it's a he, he has an unusually strong sense of self - wants to learn about mixing elements like fire and earth. He's extremely raw but has potential. He's good at creating and flinging balls of magma as well, so he'd be a good fit with any sort of archers."

"Perhaps it's time Amaryl took on an apprentice? I'll be sure to ask her!"

"Finally I have one big prospect. His name is Jannel, a janni warrior of some renown. A former paladin of Gond, but they had some sort of falling out that didn't end with him being smited into oblivion. He's a free agent, figuring out what he wants to do with his life now. He's looking for a cause, a patron - and I got him to agree to come by here and talk to you." Kascha smiles, "I don't think he fell, just reached some sort of impasse with Gond."

Seira nods thoughtfully. "I can see that. I didn't have many chances to cross paths with Gond, but a paladin might want more moral clarity in life than Gond would provide, I figure?"

"It's a strange choice for a paladin," Kascha agrees, "I haven't studied him, I haven't had a chance, but he sounds like he has a history."

"We'll chat, and if there is some baggage with Gond I'll square it away," Seira assures Kascha.

"Those are the main ones," Kascha nods, "I got plenty of free agents, mostly elementals or genie bloodeds looking for a chance, or things like azer or mermen. Nothing exceptional as of yet, but we can bring them over or use them as agents with training. We have enough contacts on the elemental planes that even when we lose one or two, we have others building up potentials."

"Nice to hear," Seira repeats with a happy note in her voice. "You've made me proud! If I hadn't just rewarded you, this definitely would've done it."
