He turns to Cresiel. "To the Bridge, if we have to. This is important." He says. He makes a quick gesture and taps Kaja's shoulder.

We're going to go up until something stops us. If we get to the Bridge then we'll talk to the Big Angel on Campus.

Moore smiles and nods to Kaja.

"I think he understands that you can't always see the world in black and white. That was one of the things I learned in Aurora. I think it's carried with us both and I've helped foster that with him." He says.

[Anastasia]

"Yet to hear the archons talk of it, we need only look upward to see absolute white and below to see absolute black." Kaja remarks, "No, we worry of the realms of shadows and shades, where there is more than the absolutes of the endless planar conflicts."

[Nephrite]

"The higher you go, the better your vantage point to see everything below." Moore says with a smile.

[Anastasia]

"A bird's eye view. Is that why fiends are so deluded?" Kaja asks, starting to smile himself, full of sharp teeth.

[Nephrite]

"I think that's a point that scholars will debate for the rest of time." Moore says. "But I think it ultimately has to do with aspiration and freedom. Even in Celestia, where you have people who are... stodgy, they still have the freedom to think the way they do. Down in the pits of Hell... there isn't much. There's a reason Taelfagn used chains, I think... it wasn't just symbolic." Moore adds quietly.

[Anastasia]

"Go on," Kaja invites after a moment, "Tell me more."

[Nephrite]

"Mm. It's a philosophy down there. They adhere only to the King of Hell, they don't... have their own aspirations, their own goals. Zaphkiel is the leader of the Hebdomad and everyone reports to him... but he's not going to kill anyone if they don't agree with him." Moore says.

"You have the freedom to think the way you want up here. It's... mm... it's a matter of not being bound, you know?" Moore says. "Not being chained... either literally or figuratively."

[Anastasia]

"I've killed devils with plenty of goals. Do you mean goals outside of Hell's bounds and powers?" Kaja asks as the other three fly a little farther ahead.

Nonetheless Jetina looks back and calls, "You two having fun back there?"
