Nephrite

How did he...?

...paper?

He looks over at the piece of paper. Maybe it's a note about what happened?

Anastasia

<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

[14:15] <Nephrite> roll 1d20+61
[14:15] <Rei-chan> Nephrite rolled : 1d20+61 --> [ 1d20=14 ]{75}

Anastasia

Mmm....

Hm...?

You blink your eyes open. You lie in bed, tucked in and warm. Wood sleeps besides your bed, a covered tray on your table. You hold something in your hand. It feels like a piece of paper or some such thing.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Not yet, huh." Moore murmurs. "Or...?"

He looks over at a nearby window.

He takes a breath and pulls himself out of bed and goes over to the window, holding up the piece of paper to the light of Chronias.

Anastasia

You hold the paper up to the light and...

Are you looking at it or just holding it up to the light?
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Holding it up to see if anything like... noticeable happens. Like maybe it glows or anything.

If it does or doesn't he's going to try and look a third time, though.

Anastasia

The paper does not glow.

You look at the paper - and see nothing. The paper is a secret made form, the unmemorable made real. In the light of Chronias it dissolves away, leaving not even dust or ash in its wake.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"So I can do it..." Moore murmurs to himself. "That means I really do remember -- somehow."

A smile as he goes over to eat his tray of food.

"Just a little longer, Elena." He says to himself.

Anastasia

As you eat, "Oh! Moore," Grias flies in, door opening. "You're up. How are you feeling?"
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Better." Moore says. "I take it Xandra brought me in here earlier?"

Anastasia

"Yes, she said you overdid it training," Grias says, "Really Moore! Be more careful, Moore!"
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"I learned something important." He says. "Nonetheless, I understand. Oh, Grias, what is required to expand this fortress?"

Anastasia

"Good, I'm glad you did." Bobbing up and down in the air quickly, "Just don't get knocked out doing it next time, please!" Then slowly floating towards you, "I request it and it's done by my superiors. It's as simple as that."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Moore smiles and nods. "Your admonishment is thus rendered. I had a curiosity that has been sated by my actions and can assure you, it will not happen again."
