Diplomatic aftermath

We haven't met in person, but I'm Seira Aryn. I've sent my friends to look for you to try and aid your cause, because I believe we wish the same thing, the end to enslavement of xorn. If you would like to work together, either directly or by sharing intelligence on the dao and their allies, contact me directly or through the neutral party of the Padisha of the marid.

That missive is sent to the Great Xorn, so that unless a divine will is shielding him or he is an urban legend despite all signs otherwise it should reach him and await a response.

'I'm a dark place that isn't on Earth. It's a tower somewhere, but they used really strong magic to capture me. Men in full armor and cloaks with hoods. One had an emblem of thunderbolts.'

Where and when were you taken? Were you alone? Did you see any unique magic from your captors, or hear them mention any names?

It should be close enough for a prayer given his plea for aid, so Seira tries to look into the Great Xorn's immediate surroundings as she converses with him!

Yan-C-Bin does on occasion, as does Ty-h'kadi.

It's a small room with walls of stone. Faint blue light flickers from them occasionally. It's a featureless room with no door that you can discern nor no light.

[Anastasia]

'I was exploring a cave in Earth and was alone,' The Great Xorn replies. 'They didn't speak, and the one who cast spells didn't use and with verbal components, or cast them silently.'

[Corwin]

Men, so humanoids? Not storm elementals or fiends? Seira ventures, trying to expand her field of vision. Can you tell what plane you're on? How powerful is your magic? Is it limited in your temporary quarters?

Meanwhile, Seira thinks to Amaryl, 'Please get Donald and Elle and bring them over to me right now. We might need to leave at a moment's notice.'

I should be able to perceive anything within a mile of the Great Xorn, so I'd like to have my consciousness briefly expand and see where this tower is and all I can there for future reference.
More importantly, I have greater arcane sight. Can I see what the Great Xorn's strongest available spell level is, and whether any sort of dimensional locks or whichever exist here?
Finally, since I pierced the barrier to reach him, can I open a Gate over or cast plane shift to whisk him away? If so, would it require a rank check, a CL check, or what?

It's solid stone as far as you can see, banded with walls of force, including one just beyond the walls. This goes on for quite some time - admirably far. Eventually above it there is a plain stone building and a bit of open dirt, then nothingness. Some form of demi plane, no doubt. There's only one thing of note - a gold rimmed portal, a great circle of gold wire, a bit away from the building.

'It's not Earth or a related plane, it's somewhere different. Maybe a demi plane. They've taken means to keep me here but mostly leave me alone. They don't seem hostile about it or cruel, they're more professional. It might be mercenaries.'

His highest level spell is 2nd. There's a dimensional lock over it the grounds.

I'll try to open a portal, so step through as soon as it appears. It won't hurt if you offer a hopeful prayer to me to strengthen the link!

With that said, Seira decides to use her ability to simultaneously cast several spells to launch a boosted dispel and open a gate for the Great Xorn!

I have three actions, which I'll use for Spell Enhancer+Superb Dispelling on that Dimensional Lock. If that works, I'll use a Gate that same round. If not, I'll choose a different action for my standard. Also, Amaryl and company better get here on my action~
