We're pretty much working flat out as is so until things on Daun resolve we can't really change things.

Congratulations, Sylica is now a rank 22 realm. It is between the plane of a demipower and an lesser power. As such, you may choose to expand your operations. You may promote any task that is 21 or below up to 22. This represents the expanded reach of your realm and will be more effective than overcharging a lower leveled one, as your base has sufficiently expanded to fully support such endeavors, plus advancement may unlock other benefits. Please let me know if which, if any, tasks you wish to upgrade to 22 and any needed point adjustments from this. You may choose to keep any task at the level it's at if you'd prefer to keep it cheaper. It's your choice.

Likewise, this is a good time to suggest new tasks that are relevant to you or needs for tasks, if you'd prefer I make them.

In regards to Daun since that is relevant, a promotion to 22 will represent more manpower, better training and better resources being available for your forces now.

Note that I won't update the realm to 22 until I know what is changing, so I only have to do the math once.

Update 12

Ebony reports that Aurora has sent a token of their appreciation in the form of lore. Do you accept?

Marchalu reports that all matters are calm for now.

Hugo reports that the exchange has gone well and wishes to note that those of the Mordinsamman have made a magical item as an offering to Sylica, and that your artisans there did the same for Moradin. Moradin accepted the gift, you may choose to accept the gift if you like. The gift in question is an adamantine fullhammer with power over earth.

Naeys reports that for now the omens are relatively calm. What provoked this change is not clear, but events continue to move on the planes.

Strength of Light that there are a handful of promising leaders, if you wish to cultivate them, though it will take a little bit of resources to properly train them.

Dawnhope reports that Sylica's mines are doing well, because she got lost in them and hey, they sure mine a lot of iron here and she saw some opals too but that's expected and anyway, she found some really bright metal that she'd bet you'd like so here, do you want it?

Emmaline would like permission to train more mortal spellcasters and help them directly, if her services are not being directly used right now.

Cultivating leaders sounds fun, presumably it entails a task and commitment though?

If Emmaline wants to train people she can do that, is that a different task? Production's pretty open ended and 'producing mages' is a thing we can do here which she might already be doing?

As for a new leader, I can't recall any memorable NPCs showing up who could fit any roles, apart from Marie's proxy and he's off on a goodwill tour. Maybe invent some cool dudes to fill out Syala's proxy slots if no one else, since she at least should have something setup for having been a deity for a while now.

Okay, start the grooming new leaders project, shift Hugo from friendly diplomacy over to that. Bump rest and production both up to 8%. Also Emmaline's down for both production and defence but presumably she can only do one? Keep her on production since I feel like that gives her most chance to train mages since defence includes a lot more tactical/strategy stuff which would take her away from that.

Update 13

Ebony requests a miracle for Sylica's forces at Aurora. The next time they take the field against serious vampire opposition, for them to go glow like the sun. (A miracle spell will be cast to facilitate this.)(This is more long term planning considering what's going to happen soon on Shadow with Aurora and she knows it.)

Strength Of Light reports that enemy forces on Daun may have innovated a new way to make healing-resistant injuries. While not all is known yet, 'psi-wounds' have become to appear. He requests Naeys be assigned to studying them in lieu of his current duties.

Marchalu reports that at the moment, there is little sign of infiltration of Sylica. Further, joint exercises with Mystra's forces in Dweomerheart have helped strengthen Sylica's defenses further on that score.

Dawnhope sends a message back that she's cleared up a misunderstanding between a group of elven sorcerers and a few Sylican wanderers in Arborea. You can also sense that Dawnhope grows stronger from her efforts. She might need to promote - or perhaps if allowed to stay as is, may become a unique outsider.

Naeys reports that events swirl more and more around Shadow. That right now omens become dark and darker as a great conflagration looms over Creation. Perhaps only Savras himself can properly discern the future at the moment, but danger rises every day.
