None of those spells are that likely to impact Alicia's ability to hit him with her sword, so... that's what she does! In fact he's close enough she doesn't even need to move much, swelling up to enormous size and scything her sword out to sweep across the gulf separating them, hacking into Lightning with gusto now that battle has been declared!
