Is she breaking through the teleport beacon?

[Anastasia]

No, she merely stood up and spoke.

[Iron Dragoon]

What I mean is, how is she planning to leave? She shouldn't be able to teleport or anything and the gate system isn't finished yet.

"Have a safe and comfortable journey, Merrala."

[Anastasia]

That's a valid question. You could ask her or try to find out some other way?

[Iron Dragoon]

Well, I don't want her to pick up on the fact that I don't know how she got here in the first place. I'll just have Madala send someone to trail her.

[Anastasia]

"Her leaving brings up a question: How did she get here in the first place? The teleport beacon should have stopped her, and I don't think our ships are finished either. Send your best to make sure she leaves without issue, and to find out how."

[Anastasia]

Madala rises without comment, going to see to it. Once gone Emily frowns, "So aggressive, so condescending," she frowns, "Are they always like that here, Alyssa?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"There's a reason why we keep to ourselves on an island. And why no one else likes them."

[Anastasia]

Emily huffs out a breath, "I can see why. How rude!"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Yes, yes. Don't worry, once things are stable here, they'll get a wake up call."

[Anastasia]

Soon enough Madala returns, "She departed on a flying mount, a figurine that became a full sized pegasus," she reports, frowning. "Annoying, but not a security breach."

[Iron Dragoon]

"... That's... A very long trip that way. How... disappointingly mundane. I'm sure she'll teleport once she's clear of our field, but regardless. In any case, your thoughts, Madala?"

[Anastasia]

"A cast iron bitch," Madala's voice is heavy with scorn, "But confident and willing to ruffle our feathers if she cares to. She's seen enough that we aren't going to intimidate a bitch like her lightly."

"Then we'll just have to intimidate her heavily," Emily smiles cheerfully, "Sometimes you have to show someone the light, no matter how much it scares them. Get all in their face and remind them that the kindness of Good doesn't mean it doesn't mean it ceases to pass judgment or punish the wicked."
