"Good idea," Emily perks up, "It worked for my Mom and Alicia too."

Jarem rubs his chin, "Sure, but the problem is that if one's abandoned or lost, it's for a good reason. The ones that aren't tend to be held by those fearsome enough to hold them against all comers. I doubt it'll be simple, even if we find one we can take."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Simplier than defense of an entire plane and all the people on it? I'm open to suggestions."

[Anastasia]

"Didn't say it was a bad idea," Jarem retorts, "Let's just keep in mind we're setting ourselves up for trouble."

"Let's do it," Emily agrees, "It's better than holding pat. We can bring over a few choice people to help us from the guild, and maybe I can get Mom to contribute once we get set up on a demiplane."

"Yeah, and we're at least moving forward now," Jarem gets up as you feel it. A connection to Jarem, strong and sharp.

Node update. Unplanned one, as I didn't see this course of action happening, but it certainly changed where his mind was at and fulfilled his node goal.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Well, that's something. Indicator of a good choice. Let's keep it quiet, and hopefully secret. I think we should look into making it hidden if we can find one. We should quietly look into defenses for a demi-plane."

[Anastasia]

Okay, so you've clearly made a big choice. How are you going to follow through on it, exactly?

[Iron Dragoon]

Well, first see if I can get ahold of Shaundakul. If I can, talk to him about a demi-plane. If not, then Moore. No point in bringing it to anyone outside of us yet if it's not possible/likely.

[Anastasia]

Okay, cool. How are you planning on getting in touch with him?

[Iron Dragoon]

Well, I don't have a direct line, I don't think, so... Wish, I guess, or something like I did before to find him. I should probably talk to It to see if I can say anything to Shaundakul about what/why I need one, or how to impress upon him that it's important.

[Anastasia]

Okay then, which are you doing first?

[Iron Dragoon]

It's probably the best. Have those answers before I talk to Shaundakul.

"Lord Io, I have the idea of taking over a lost or abandoned demi-plane to separate myself from my plane. Shar's assaults will only intensify, and my lack of resources and ability means I can defend or isolate the plane. A demi-plane would simplify many of these issues, but I don't have the ability to find one with any sort of haste. The god I follow is Shaundakul, one of, if not the most, well travelled deities. It's possible he already knows of one that's suitable, but demi-planes are valuable. How much can I tell him to convince him, or make you known to him?"

"You may speak of a desire to stop Shar," Io states, "For you are hardly unique in that desire, as most of Creation agrees. You must NOT speak of Ao or anything directly related to him or of your purpose, or of the conspiracy against him."
