"I've heard a bit about it. Emily started to gush about it once or twice."

Alyssa inspects all of the magic things they pass by reflex.

[Anastasia]

There's various magical defenses here for sure, as Jarem adds, "I've heard of Aurora. They did good work on Lifasa."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Moore, would you consider it rude if I were to inspect the defense effects here?"

[Nephrite]

"I was proud to be part of that." Moore says, as he gestures again inside into the fortress.

He stops at Alyssa's question and smiles. "No, please, by all means. But let me take you somewhere first where we can talk. Afterwards, you're welcome to study the magic here at your leisure." He says.

There are small buildings all around, but one seems to dominate the most of it. It seems to be some sort of primary barracks and otherwise war station.

As Moore leads them inside, he takes them all past some hallways and doors and opens one, gesturing them inside.

Inside that room is a simple bed near a window, along with a bookshelf with several books and a small desk nearby the bed. There's not much else there besides a mirror and a few other knickknacks.

"This is my room." Moore explains. "It's, ah... hm, how do I put it... Protected?" He says with a gesture out towards one of the windows. "It's protected the same way That Place you went to to meet our dragon friend is."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa eyes the room carefully.

"I appreciate the subtly, but I'm afraid I can't take you at your word, by our Dragon Lord's direction. Would you care to have him verify it for us?"

[Nephrite]

"Oh!" Moore exclaims, rubbing his chin.

"Sorry, I understand your hesitance. Ah... short of going to see him yourself, I don't know how else I could prove it... but if you want to go see him, I can wait here." Moore says. "If you're familiar with Mount Celestia's structure, this room is protected by Lord Zaphkiel, the highest of anyone here in Celestia. Of course, I realize my just telling you that doesn't do anything to assuage your concerns." A small chuckle after that.

"But please, do whatever you need to do feel comfortable." Moore says. "I can understand not being able to take me at face value just yet."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Thank you for your understanding. I'll be but a moment."

Jarem nods and follows. Your return to Io is without incident, the great dragon merely watching you as you ascend. "Your curiosity is strong, or your caution is stronger."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Both have served me to this point. Is Moore's room sufficiently protected that I might speak freely there as here?"

[Anastasia]

"Prudent - but yes," Io says, "You are safe there."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods. "Is there any other place protected so? To save a trip and interruptions."

[Anastasia]

"For now, no," Io says, "Use caution and talk only in places you are certain are safe, and others that are not part of this cannot hear."

[Iron Dragoon]

"If I get my own demi-plane, could you shield it in a similar way?"

[Anastasia]

"Great security can be considered then," Io agrees. "At least a room. What Zaphkiel is done is something unique to him and his realm."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods. "Thank you, that's all for now."
