I can go into as much detail as you like here about them.

Basically stuff that's powerful enough to maul a big demon army and not care about dying (like horrible demon-eating plants) or can actually do hit and run attacks (like horrible landsharks).

The Order of the Lances is nearby, and they have powerful mounted chargers who can fly and hit hard. They care little about death.

There's a few assorted dragons who while not associated with Sylica, do lair in the ai.ea. A silver dragon and an Oceanus dragon in particular, both rather solitary loners who have no love for demons.

The Firecask Army is nearby, a wandering force of dwarves who specialize in massive barrages of alchemist's fire and other such things. They wander Ysgard for the fights and the fire.

The Twenty Sworn are a small band of planetars who face anyone who cares to fight them, no matter what the odds are. They're a little farther away but in the general area, just far enough away to be unawares of what's going on.

Alicia will make use of these then. Diplomatic officers in her army are dispatched to ask for help.

The Twenty Sworn will be asked to perform raiding attacks on the demon horde to expend its resources and break up its cohesion on the march across Ysgard.

The Order of the Lances will be asked to attack the rear flank of the demon horde when it reaches the Sylican fortifications.

For the two dragons, Alicia herself back in Sylica will go ask Lightning if he wants to help them by harrying the demon army, and if he does he'll be asked to recruit the other two dragons to support him and serve as a good way of making his presence known to the locals. They'll attack groups of demons that get separated by terrain or chasing after the Twenty Sworn.

The Firecask Army will be asked to plant mines and other traps in the path of the demons close to the Sylican fortifications.

She's willing to pay all involved for their services if they're of a mercenary bent, and her officers are entrusted to negotiate and get the best deal for Sylica (though she'll deal with Lightning personally).

Meanwhile...

The demons look to be winding down - at least none of the survivors are venturing out of the caves now. Jessica and Marie stand tall as the teleport block ends...and the portals do not return.

Marie ends her Beauty Triumphant spell now since they'll be going home. "We've done our part Jessica. Lets take Mazef back to Sylica then we can check in with Alicia and Syala?" she suggests, floating over by the fallen titan.

Of course someone'll have to come here before dawn and stop all those dead demons from being resurrected, but that's a problem for later!

"Before the demons realize they can teleport in again now," Jessica agrees quietly.

Yes, we'll plane shift Mazef into Sylica and hand him off to some nice people who'll look after him and give him a hot meal when he wakes up, then go report to Alicia.

Thus Marie reports to Alicia, Antenora and Syala, who...

Go ahead and handwave the retelling as much as you like, this is mostly to springboard into things with reports of the situation coming in the next post.

Because Alicia was able to monitor what Marie was doing throughout, there isn't much need for her to summarise events. So she appears before the genuine Alicia while the avatar remains at the fortifications in Ysgard with Syala's avatar and Latha.

"Need me to do anything else? I can still manage a few more amazing barrages to thin out the demons," Marie offers.

"Not yet, we'll wait until the demons actually engage our forces, that way they won't have time to reorganise or plug the gaps you put in their formation by doing it," Alicia says. "Still, well done. You and Jessica did your part perfectly."

Marie preens at the praise.

"Thank you, sister," Jessica says, "Once this is over, I'd like our faithful to spread the story of what we did. Make it into a legend."

[Ebiris]

"It's worth a story alright," Alicia agrees. "A shame the only witnesses were demons - and Mazef. I'll send visions of the event to those who'll be properly inspired to craft a suitable tale of it."
