[Anastasia]

The party races into the temple before them. Cold, dead waters swirl within as you pass, into a place of stone and water. Here stone tentacles hang from the ceiling, twitching as they almost reach the ground. Recesses in the walls are decorated with cracked pearls, where verses of what looks to be Aquan and another language are carved. You'd have to take the time to look closer.

Ahead lie no doors, but passages that lead deeper in, like little carved tunnels deeper into this place.

"Let's find them, but remember this place. Some good money here, and I'm interested in those carvings. And figure out those tentacles."

[Anastasia]

"Ahead," Ianvasah says, turning human again to fit into the building. Delaize follows - as from the passages two emerge. Sahuagin in metal armor, long spears readied. "HALT!" one cries in Common, "What are you doing here?"

"Rescuing foolishly tricked sailors on behalf of Shaundakul. What are you doing?"

[Anastasia]

"Killing you!" The sahuagin retorts with a sneer, charging in.

This spell protects against all mind-affecting spells and effects as well as information gathering by divination spells or effects. Mind blank even foils limited wish, miracle, and wish spells when they are used in such a way as to affect the subject's mind or to gain information about it. In the case of scrying that scans an area the creature is in, such as arcane eye, the spell works but the creature simply isn't detected. Scrying attempts that are targeted specifically at the subject do not work at all.

With that, one of the two is simply dust in the water, gone in a moment.

"Pity," Delaize says softly, a gesture that points dead ahead, a thin blue-white beam flying at the other sahuagin.

The sahuagin falls in an instant, half frozen and now still, not a single spark of resistance. "These fools have no idea how out classed they are," he says quietly. "They truly chose the wrong ship."

Delaize goes to the gear and checks it, "It will take time," he says, going to check the one with surviving gear. "I suggest we loot later."

"Just throw it in a sack and deal with it later. My pack has space if need be."

[Anastasia]

Delaize doesn't argue, tossing gear in as fast as he can. At the same time Ianvasah scowls, "Do we know which way the prisoners are?"

Alyssa shakes her head, trying to remember where the guards came from.

"We're going to have to search. Summons will be faster. Water elementals are the obvious choice."

"Agreed," Iavansah says, "I can manage a few. You?"
