"I'll make the arrangements. Before we tackle the dragons, are you up to date on Yandrazrt's works? He reported a breakthrough for behemoth research, though I'm unclear on just how close we are. And the same for Omni's elemental harmony research, come to think of it."

Amidst this, Seira feels a Sending from Moore. 'Hi Lady Seira, I hope you're doing well. Apologies if you're busy, feel free to reply to this any time. Whenever you finish with That Book, could you please have it delivered to Hope's Landing in Celestia? In addition, I have some notes for you on our mutual project. If you could supply the ones you've found with the book I'll send what I've found so far along with it.'

Corwin

Likewise. I'll take care of that, Seira responds to Moore.

"Close," Sanzha says, "I'd estimate a few days to a few weeks. The final parts are as important as any others to get right."

<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"Alright. Let's cover the prismatic research, now," Seira says in clear invitation for Sanzha to elaborate on her flagship project.

Anastasia

"You're familiar with how Baleruk became a prismatic dragon, of course?" Lady Sanzha asks.

Corwin

"Kascha filled me in. I trust we are not sacrificing other dragons but rather using the method pioneered by Afina?" Seira asks with a raised eyebrow.

"That is the idea, and seeing how viable it is," Lady Sanzha agreed mildly. "And if we'll get prismatic dragons or merely dragons with prismatic or elemental powers. Anyway, the research proceeds. Omni's providing insights and we're preparing our first trial, as well as to determine how repeatable and safe this is."

"Dragons with elemental powers that compliment each other and elemental traits which supply much-desired immunities would be an achievement in itself," Seira muses. "Keep me posted, please. Elle, have you come to a decision about attempting elemental harmony yourself?"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

"Not now,"Elle finally says, "With all that's going on..." she trails off a moment, "There's new options to consider."

"Ah," Sanzha smiles lightly, "You wish to become One."

"If Antenora can do it," Elle tosses her hair back, "And if Kascha can ascend, then I should at least consider it anew."

"Fair enough," Seira agrees. "I considered harmony myself, but I'm not sure the elements will provide enough for me to bother, and I worry that covering my obvious weakness of cold will get my enemies to be creative. Besides, I want to keep a fire affinity for the time I reform Fire with Zaaman Rul."

Humming to herself, she asks Sanzha, "What do you think we should do with regards to the Mercane?"

Anastasia

Finishing a bit more wine off, "Nothing," Elle says, "We could make an impact but they're too insular and we have a war going on. I don't like it, but the mercane can make our lives harder in a way we can't do much about short of getting into a feud with them that serves us no purpose, or even pushes them against us. I want to make an impact on them, make an impression, but it's a bad idea when we're already at war."

Lady Sanzha merely lets Elle take the question in her place and then adds, "I do agree, for the same basic reasons. We're stretched thing on a war and meddling with the mercane is a risky proposition. I've had informal contacts with them, they're parrying and hiding in their shell, like sea turtle. And again, this could be entirely routine with a leadership change."

"The leadership change is not the issue, nor is the change in how they operate. I'm bothered by how they sought me out but didn't follow through, even as I asked Sanzha to check back with them. Dragging their feet like this is strange, especially since the logical assumption to make here is that the reason is they are working against my interests, having found what they are. And that makes me wonder why." Seira nods to herself, having vocalized the issue she has with the Mercane. "I'll ask Waukeen."

She nods to herself. "Well then. I believe we are done catching each other up? I hope to meet again in a couple of days and decide on our next move."

"I do have much to do," Lady Sanzha agrees, as...

Ready to move onto the next thing then?

Yes. I think an overview of the War is in order.
