Anastasia

You rise up to a small, triangular room. This room is ancient and ruined, forgotten and utterly desolate with the rot of the ages. The floor buckles with the faintest pressure on it.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

Seira replicates the effect she had just witnessed and corrected, reversing the flow of time for the decrepit room to make it properly presentable once more.

Anastasia

The room reverts - into a fine sitting room, table and chairs, a single book sitting atop the table there. A fire crackles in the fireplace as your guide says, "Well applied. Have you begun to grasp how temporal magic works, at least in direct application?"
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"Actually, I think I've grasped it the divine wizard way. Everything's possible, the structured spells are merely training wheels. I'm aiming towards that mastery of the arcane, actually," Seira tells him, her voice not carrying to Kascha to avoid biasing her. And really, the same is true for the so-callef arcane/divine divide....

Anastasia

"Then I believe you've learned the essence of what you need," Chrona decides, "Both you and Alicia are quick studies, with your focus on magic."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"Thanks! Then it's time to see the riddles you've left for me to uncover~" Seira says cheerfully, summoning the book into her hands and cracking it open after a glance at its magical aura, if any.

Guuuh! The book's letters seem off, changing. Some are written, some are yet to be written and a few are even being written right now. They change, going back and forth, a melange of past, present and future.

Corwin

Seira freezes the book in time, taking a look at a snapshot of the text.

Anastasia

The book is frozen, the text solid. Kascha comes in next to you and leans over, "Oh, we can read it together, Seira."

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"Sure can!" Seira agrees with her. "I was thinking of taking several snapshots of it during different times and then piecing it all together into a coherent whole. Do you have a better idea?"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

"Oh no, that sounds fine," Kascha says, "I just want to see what it says, it has to be good."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

Seira takes a series of snapshots of the book, from before its existence and just past it crumbling into dust in her hands. Then, she provides the copied information to Kascha so that her enthusiastic friend could put her mind to it and compile the puzzle!
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

Quick question, are you reading it yourself as well?
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

Yes, though I'm giving Kascha the chance to solve it first.

<Penuche> Kotono invokes Penuche's magic: < 16 > [d20=2]

Kascha works on it silently a time, absorbed and with no sign of putting it together quickly.
