These are constructs of pure mist. Unliving things, animated by another's will. Perhaps some rudimentary dream given form by that will, or perhaps simply mist. If it is a dream, it'll be much stronger than a mere construct of mist.

Dispelling them if they're merely mist is effective. If it's a dream you'll need to fight it the hard way. Direct, physical attacks are likely to be of a greatly reduced effectiveness.

How would TK Violent Thrust work? If they're mist, would it just sorta blow them apart?

The creatures in the mist are sent hurtling away, cast away by your power and flying backwards. They fly into the mists and the cover of it, no immediate sign of them - not that you can see from here.

"That do it?" Jarem asks, voice tense.

You begin to fly forward - and at once they come, from all directions. A dozen of the mistopus, above, below, behind and ahead. They form from the mists as Bastian grins, "Oh, there you are. Was it a good trip?"

Emily draws her blade, "Everyone, focus on breaking through ahead. We can't get bogged down here."

Jarem glances sidelong at Bastian, muttering something under his breath.

So it was enough to affect them, what about holding them in place? Violent thrust is 1 creature per CL, and sustained force goes by weight.
