In the end it's Bastian who gets the better of it - he manages to knock Jarem's blade away. The two exchange a look and Jarem says something and then Bastian replies, your position too far up and away to hear. Regardless of what it is, Jarem offers his hand out and grabs Bastian's, shaking it. After Jarem leans in and murmurs something to Bastian, getting a sound that carries high enough for you to hear - a startled little bark of laughter.

Alyssa chuckles at the ice breaking and goes back to settling in.

'Men.'

[Anastasia]

It's not too much later than Delaize knocks and enters your office as you work. "A small matter - Emily's sister came to visit Emily, along with a figure in heavy clothes and a robe. I did not catch his or her name."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa blinks.

"Sister? I don't recall her ever mentioning one... Have you told her?"

Alyssa runs through what she knows of Seira and Amryl for mention of a second child...

Emily does have a sister, yes. Her name is Xera and she's a monk of considerable skill. As you recall, she's trained on Solania in Mount Celestia.

[Iron Dragoon]

"I recall her, but not from Emily. Hm. Do we have any waiting rooms furnished? Send them there, I'll go find Emily."

[Anastasia]

"Emily was present, they're already talking," Delaize says.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Let's go meet them, then. We'll take our time, however, and let them have their sister-talk."

[Anastasia]

Delaize falls in step with you. He takes you all the way to the bottom, to a closed door in the living quarters. "In here," Delaize says, gesturing with an open hand towards the door.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa knocks and waits!

[Anastasia]

"Come in," After about ten seconds that's the reply you get. "It's open now."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa does so!

"Hello!"
