Alyssa nods.

"A trinket donated to her church to be put into a library for market study then. Easy enough to give to any priest. How's your project going, speaking of?"

[Anastasia]

"I'm still not finding anything," Emily admits, "It's such an old magic and it's not one that can be reproduced." Here she shakes her head, "I'm not sure I'll ever find one."

[Iron Dragoon]

"I have something of an idea. We could use the memory spell to study the magic of the amulet before you absorbed it. If you can memorize and learn it, you might be able to trace similar magic, or reproduce it as a spell. Or perhaps how to make a copy or separate the magic of it from yourself."

[Anastasia]

"That's the problem - I can't copy it," Emily shakes her head, "If it could be copied, don't you think the rings would be copied in the first place?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"I didn't mean exactly. You might get enough to make a functional spell, or track another artifact with the same, or similar magic. The magic still exists, just inside of you, so it's possible you might find a way to to work with it."

[Anastasia]

"Maybe," Emily says, "I'll look into it."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods. "When you're ready, I'll cast the spell for you. We can both study it. Maybe an idea will spark between the two of us."

[Anastasia]

Soon enough Emily returns, "Hi!" she calls, "Great news, Alyssa!"

"Great! About what?"

[Anastasia]

"They were grateful for the notes," Emily says, "They said they'd remember it in the future."

[Iron Dragoon]

"That's good. Good will is always useful. Glad they liked it."

[Anastasia]

Anything else to do here? Post session I'm going to do a loot post and start sorting purchases out in earnest, since I overslept this morning.
