Nephrite

For his part Moore reflects on returning to Aurora. Who could Medi be working with that he can't interfere?

Maybe if he can solve his own anathemic knowledge problem he can find out more.

He has to focus on that — he can't just give up.

His attention pulls away from the others to look up towards Chronias. Can he use the Words of Creation to help him with this?

Anastasia

You look up, lost in your own thoughts.

Refusing to give up is an aspect of hope.

Strive to show me that hope can overcome this problem. Do not give up. Experiment, struggle, fight.

Moore smiles for some reason as he turns his attention back to the others. Nothing to do but wait and see what happens!

Hes fine just watching everyone.

Anastasia

Gimme a quick d100.

You spend a few hours like this, simply watching your friends.

"But still, gold," Kaja insists, "Platinum's beautiful, but you can't deny gold's luster."

Villisa looks over at that, and with a soft, alluring smile, "Yet there are things that have far more luster than even gold. Don't you think so?"

As Kaja pauses at that, exchanging a look with her, "Mother," Cresiel says, a single word that says it all from his tone.

"Ahem," Xandra clears her throat, "There are many things more alluring that gold - but platinum is not one of them. I find gold's color and beauty to surpass platinum's."

"Yet Mertion stands higher than Mercuria," Jetina cuts in at that, "Far higher."

"And Jovar even higher." Moore says. "The idea of value depends on the person. Platinum may be valued more to some than gold... but if you asked a native of Mineral what the value of platinum or gold is, they'd tell you something entirely different."

Moore smiles at that. "Ultimately the question of value and worth is up to the individual, even in cases where a society has set a standard for monetary worth." He says. "Worth and value are very similar, but ultimately not the same."

Anastasia

"Value is worth," The wyrm nearby says, "One leads to the other, yet they are not the same. Not quite."

Kaja starts to speak, pauses. His eyes slowly cross, "It's treasure and treasure's treasure. Bahamut's teeth, I feel as if my mind is going asunder to try and grasp such a fine, nitpicking point."

Cresiel adds in at that, looking over from his mother, "Value is beyond merely monetary concerns. Would you not give up all your earthly treasures to pass into Chronias?"

"So is worth, but..." Jetina says, "I'm with Kaja. It's cutting too fine a grain into the wood."

"It's about what you see as worthy of value." Moore says. "It'll always depend on the person."

Anastasia

"In the eye of he who sees it," Xandra muses, conversations going quiet as all think on this a time.

Moore nods.

Just like to him, there's value and worth in finding an answer to this knowledge.

A gate, huh...

He takes in a long breath.

Gates are meant to be opened.... aren't they?

Anastasia

"Open wide, Empyrean Gate..."

For a moment, looking into the light of Chronias from above, Moore remembers something. A fragment that slips between his fingers, something distant. A faraway dream perhaps, something long forgotten by even himself.

A smile creeps into his face for a reason he doesn't know.

He's getting closer, even if there are things he keeps forgetting. He won't give up on this, not ever.

Anastasia

Apologies all, I got pulled away ultra abruptly by a family problem. It's sorted now.

Anyway, Will save.
