"Annoying?" Donald gets you a sidelong look, "Why?"

Meanwhile Ranbar smiles, reddening, "Thank you, my lady!"

"If you've chosen me to fix Creation, give me the power directly and let me decide what to do with it. Also, it's more satisfying when my own divine power rewards people for exceptional actions," Seira tells Donald, smiling at Ranbar. "And speaking of that, an excellent baptism of fire, I think."

As discussed for divine rewards, I want to give Ranbar the Easy Metamagic: Barrage Spell feat.

Sure. One note first: Easy doesn't put it to +0, that's specialized, which is an epic feat.  If your intent is to open that option up for her, more power to you. Just making sure you're on the same page before committing to that.

It's fine, she'll either get that as a reward later or grab it herself.

[Anastasia]

Just as well. I'm still feeling out how barrage spell works and balances, so I'm in no hurry to make it +0 for her yet, if I ever go in that direction.

"Oh!" Ranbar gasps as your will flares out, "T-thank you, Seira!" As she rises and bows deeply to you, paying you homage?

"How about as thanks you cook Seira dinner?" Elle suggests, a hint of a twinkle in her eyes, "I can tell you what foods she likes."

[Corwin]

"Vayley treats it as serious business, so you might have a hard fight on your hands," Seira warns.

[Anastasia]

"I...of course I will, thank you. I'll...I'll go ask Vayley for help," Ranbar rises, "A good game, but I concede." She hurries away at that.

"She's adjusting," Donald says easily, starting to put away the game board. "Still, I got what I wanted - a good fight and a good time doing something worthwhile."

[Corwin]

"So you had!" Seira agrees. "Fulfilling your heart's desires it in the job description~"

[Anastasia]

"Yeah, and I got a lot of practice moving around - need to move better so I don't take it next time," Donald grimaces, and then you feel it. A connection to Donald, a sudden shock as you feel it grow stronger.

Seira blinks. "Seriously? Are you sure about that?"

[Anastasia]

'...yes?" Donald says slowly, "If I'd been able to avoid being stopped on my charge, I may not have been smacked around as badly by Imix," Grimacing there, "Let me tell you, Imix's flame tendrils hurt."

Elle's color darkens at this, "Donald, you really do have to be more careful. That was horrifying to see. Don't make me afraid like that again!"

[Corwin]

"Oh, not that, it was inspired as f-- I mean... yeah." Seira shakes her head. "I seriously worried for you, and cursed myself for being too far to help in time. But when you spat in his face, I knew it right then. We had this. That's why Imix ended up running, because he knew it too."

She shrugs, then. "So if you want to adjust yourself a bit, Omni recently had a breakthrough on our elemental uplifting project. You're not an elemental but it'd work for you, guaranteed! Or if not that, I'm cautiously optimistic about a swift advancement of the prismatic research past the prototype stage."

[Anastasia]

"Yeah?" Donald considers, "I was actually thinking of something like that. Maybe find some powerful blood or essence and -"

Elle quietly sinks her head into her hand. "Donald," she says slowly, "Don't be an IDIOT! You already have traces of fey blood, dragon blood and are a human reincarnated into an elven body. You don't get a bonus for adding more and making it work."

"...I don't?" Donald says, completely earnestly, "But it always seems to work out for me."

Meanwhile Amaryl's lips quirk up, "Then some balance is just what you need."

[Corwin]

"Also, Elle is utterly wrong. This is exactly how such things work! And if you want to live adventurously, I do have some premium Grand Sultan blood in cold storage."

[Anastasia]

"Mmm." Elle's expression becomes more calculating, "If you even think about it, I'll launch your things out of the Cauldron like a volcano erupting."

"I don't know," Donald says, "Efreet's blood is like fiendl's blood - you have to be really desperate or stupid." Humming to himself, "Really stupid."
