What looms next?

[Nephrite]

"Do you mind if I ask you if this is your natural appearance, or was the one I met some time ago that? Or... are neither?" He asks.

[Anastasia]

"My form changes based on your wisdom and knowledge," The Authority says, "What do you see?" He smiles at this, "Though I'm afraid there's no fishing to be done here today."

[Nephrite]

"You look like a rather standard bald human." Moore says. "But you have incredibly captivating violet eyes. I'm a little jealous."

[Anastasia]

Kaja gives you a sidelong look at that before saying, "You look like an angel."

To this the Authority claps once, "Excellent," His voice is loud indeed, "That's how I was before I began my journey up. My true self, that only the insightful and learned can see. I sound louder too, don't I? I never had much talent at a good inside voice in my mortal life."

[Nephrite]

"It is a little bit booming, yes." Moore says with a laugh. "I think of all the Authorities I've met so far, you're the most... I don't know how to put it... down to earth, perhaps?" He asks. "I imagine it's owed to what you have to represent."

[Anastasia]

"Some of that, some is that wisdom includes not forgetting those things," The Authority says, "All while learning more and improving yourself."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "That makes sense. As far showing up... well, there's a lull right now. We're waiting on something tomorrow, so your invitation came at a perfect time." He says. "I've actually been wanting to talk to you anyway. I know what you told me before was the truth at the time, and I still appreciate the wisdom you gave me... I'm just stubborn."

[Anastasia]

"Stubborn and brave," The Authority agrees, "Ask what you like."

Kaja focuses on the food for now, though he adds, "I have questions after that."

[Nephrite]

Moore laughs. "I had a reason to be stubborn." He says. "Would you share with me some places that you think I might want to search for the knowledge I'm currently seeking with this research? I assume you have a gist or know already what it is I'm doing."

[Anastasia]

A gesture out, "Seek here, it's a fine place to begin."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "That makes sense. Hm... It's funny... I have a lot of questions I want to ask, but I don't know how to ask them. I suppose... let's just start with why you invited me -- I know you had mentioned the Words, so perhaps we can discuss that topic."

[Anastasia]

"It felt like a prudent time," The Authority agrees with you, "What of the Words are you studying?"

[Nephrite]

"Right now, I'm looking for... myself." Moore says with a chuckle. "A way to find a Word that defines me and can be used to bolster myself. I think it'll involve a trip to find my true name to be spoken that way."

[Anastasia]

The platform you're on slowly drifts along now, the light from above radiant. Bookshelves and floating platforms are passed, while below you can see the patchwork of Venya.

"Your true name would be the way to go," The Authority agrees with that, "Are you familiar with means and ways to change your soul? It's the most dangerous art, one where a mistake can prove fatal." Talking faster as he leans forward, "There's sects who practice it and the rates of death and failure are high, but the successful can reap a powerful reward."

[Nephrite]

"That does sound dangerous, but I might find some wisdom buried in the actual rituals the get performed." He says.
