"Anything we can do to help with the cleanup?" Seira offers. "And it might be a good time to ask when you're planning another excursion against Shar's interests."

Ebiris

"Yes, just because the sortie has ended doesn't mean our cooperation has," Alicia seconds Seira. "This was an important first step, and we should build on it together."

Anastasia

"Soon, but Shar is not the only evil, and others do not sleep." Phoebe says and then -!

"They do not," Selune is there, a mature warrior woman, untouched by the battle and radiant. "Alicia, your offensive against the Tower was a success. Seira, your bravery and occupying an avatar of Shar enabled others to strike harder and freer. Empress, your battles held the line and protected others from Shar's attacks. You all have my gratitude - and a gift from plunder taken."

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"It's a shame that we could only occupy one, and I'm sorry I couldn't keep Luneli safe. But you can count on a better performance next time!"

"The Palace of Loss has one less spire, for the moment at least," Alicia turns to Selune and smiles slightly.

Anastasia

What comes first is a short sword, scarred and pitted iron. Yet it is not broken, unsheathed but unbroken.

"Dweomerbane," Selune says, "A sword created to slay mages of all kinds and tempered in the blood of the arch mage tricked into creating it."

"One of the heroes who fought to liberate Lifasa had a similar sword, if I recall..." Alicia says, suitably impressed as she peers at the weapon deadly to... well, almost every serious threat at their level.

Anastasia

Antenora considers it a moment, "Seira? Short swords are your weapon...unless you want to try it, Marie?"

Dweomerbane: Short sword+6, mage bane. Counts as cold iron to bypass damage reduction. Deals extra damage per strike equal to the highest level arcane spell active on the target. For example, a 5th level arcane spell being active grants +5 damage per strike.

"Let's do this the adventurer way?" Seira proposes. "It's not really as exciting as this ceremonial process, but we'll see what gifts fit us best that way. Since they're gifts as it is, I'd be happy with anything I receive!"

"I don't really do melee combat," Marie demurs.

Ebiris

"Of course," Alicia says to Seira, "We'll be happy with anything, likewise."

Anastasia

"Melee combat may choose to find you," Antenora replies, a glance at Marie.

Selune merely nods in understanding as the second comes. This is a silver helmet, mithral perhaps. Open faced with a T bar going down the center of the face. "Helmet of Battlelord," Selune says, "It grants the wearer several spells to invoke to enhance their combat ability."

Corwin

"May I take a look?" Seira requests, curious about the spells. Beside the utility of such an artifact, it can always serve as inspiration to see what another combat-oriented mage decided was the proper combat loadout.

Marie holds out her hand and a glowing purple blade projects from it, much like a longsword. "It's okay, I have options," she says before shaking her hand and dismissing the brilliant energy weapon forged of herself.

"That looks useful," Alicia says, though neither it nor the short sword call to her she could give either to a trusted follower or ally and be happy.
