"I'll make inquiries," Dyasa agrees, "Will you stay here while we work, Duke?"

"It'd be my pleasure." Moore says. "Do you mind if we stroll around?"

Anastasia

"The grounds are yours," Dyasa agrees.

Once she goes off, Kaja turns to Cresiel, "You never mentioned her!" he says, a smile growing.

With a calm, unblinking look to Kaja, "There's nothing to mention. She watched me when I was a child. Father insisted that I have influences from his side of the family."

"Do you rest your hand on the shoulder of a friend?" Kaja challenges right back. "A female friend?"

"She is like a sister to me," Cresiel says softly, "An older sister." The two meet eyes, silence for a few long moments.

"Sorry, I was mistaken," Kaja admits, "I owe you an extra round training next time." He lowers his gaze from Cresiel, "You're due a good practice with that warhammer you train with."

"It's always good to reunite with old friends." Moore says with a smile that hopefully breaks up the tension.

"Come, let's meander." He adds.

They'll pretty much just look around since this is a unique building and locale.

Anastasia

Be a few, having constant drops and peers. I'm checking my modem and router to make sure they're okay or if I may need a service call. I should be back and posting soon. If not, something probably was on its last leg and gave up the ghost.

so noted! Good luck mega man!

It's all wood. Smooth wood, varying grains and color, but all wood. It's mostly open spaces with little windows high above that let in sunshine, that keep any gloom at bay. Furniture is the same wood, connected to the ground and from it, as if grown from the building itself. Within wide hallways give way to pleasant rooms, which in turn lead to inner halls that wind and twist about.

Moore just wanders around to take in the sights!

"It's interesting that this was likely repurposed from the tree that it theoretically still is." Moore says. "It's always fascinating to see the people assigned to these types of locations."

Anastasia

"I think it's one living tree, grown in one way over the eons," Xandra says, pausing to rest a hand on a smooth wooden wall. "A treant of some kind, or other wood spirit."

"It's not unheard of," Cresiel says, "A few enterprising types in Brightwater offer those for inflated, excessive prices." He keeps walking as Xandra does, "It's likely as resistance to flame as iron or steel as well, I understand that's a common enchantment placed on this sort of tree."

It always comes back to Brightwater, Moore thinks as he laughs to himself.

"Still, it's quite nice." Moore says. "I'd think it'd be uncomfortable to sit on for too long, though." A shrug as he continues to wander. "I wonder if the other embassies are like this, too."

Anastasia

""Is something funny about that?" Cresiel asks, a hint of a frown on his face.

Meanwhile Kaja says, "Well, if it doesn't burn it's not bad. Still, wooden furniture gets old without padding. Your ass falls asleep."

Xandra's gaze on Kaja is less than amused, "Beg pardon?"

"You probably wouldn't know, being an immortal, but a normal ass can only sit for so long before it can take no more," Kaja says, "Padding and comfortable chairs help with that."

Moore shakes his head and clears his throat. "At any rate, let's see if they've happened to uncover anything for us."

Moore will head back, trying to just not get caught up in immortal versus mortal asses.

Anastasia

Dyasa's answer is simple enough. "I've made inquiries," she says, "A few early ones have not borne fruit, but-"

A knock. "Come," Dyasa says.

A hound archon enters, a bow and a letter handed to her. Once done she reads it, "Blessed timing," she remarks.

Moore smiles. "It does seem to work that way." He says, allowing for her to expound further.

Anastasia

The letter is read, "The root of the problem is that Greenwood is a common place name," Dyasa goes on, "In this case, I can confirm the portal is to Selune's realm, not a demiplane."
