"Why do you call it soulriders?"
"Because we grind your souls, hopes, and dreams down ... and ride the wave."

Moore offers a bow. "Please excuse us for the intrusion." He says with a smile. "My name is Moore, of Celestia. These are my comrades - Cresiel, Xandra, Jetina and Kaja."

He pauses for a moment for everyone to offer a nod or otherwise.

"I've come here in search of something and am hoping you might be willing to provide information on it." Another pause, as Moore looks contemplative.

"We seem to run into a lot of talkative denizens down here, actually." He says as he looks at the others briefly.

Anastasia

"It is an unusual region," Xandra points out, "Only unusual elementals would favor it."

To this Clastra says, "There's some truth to that," she says, "Speak them, what do you want?"

Moore clears his throat. "I seek something that is only spoken of in rumors and riddles. The only clue I have is as follows: 'Find the lost house within. Beware the war. Beware the war that is raged there between the elements.'" He says. "I don't know if the house is a physical house or simply a metaphor to something else. If you've been here for as long as you seem to have been, you may have seen or heard something yourself." He explains.

Anastasia

"Down. Keep going down," The elemental says, "There's ancient things if you deep enough. You won't get deep enough unless you can swim through rock and stone." With a shallow nod to Cresiel, "The seven winged one should have some magic to allow that, or the other angel."

"We can manage." Moore says. "Well, in return for that, please know that you may feel free to come visit Hope's Landing in Lunia, or reach out to me specifically if you have any need or are ever threatened by anything."

Anastasia

"As long as I don't get smited," Is all the elemental says, sinking back into the ground.

"...must have had a bad experience with heroes before," Jetina says slowly, her voice beautiful. "Too bad, but she was helpful."

"She was afraid," Cresiel states, "She should not be unless her own sins burden her."

"There are probably valid reasons." Moore says as he looks around. "Actually..."

He holds a hand up to the others for a moment as he concentrates.

Does Lay of the Land work 50 miles in all directions, or is it only a flat area? He's going to try either way, to see if perhaps it will give him some insight on something that may be below them. If needed, he can Find the path afterwards.

Anastasia

All directions, I'd say.

okay, then he is Lay of the Land-ing.

Anastasia

There's a few things below.

About 20 miles below you sense a large settlement of liquid stone elementals.

35 miles below is the Boiling Sea, a massive sea of lava.

30 miles ahead and 15 to the north-northwest is an abandoned town.

"Hm... nothing of any great interest in the surrounding area." Moore says.

Would my K:P tell me if there's anything 'below' the Boiling Sea?

Anastasia

It's possible. It's said that beneath great bands of lava there's solid stone and pure fire, as well as stranger things yet.

"I know there's magic that turns you into elementals." Moore says. "If they were right and we need to pass through stone, we'd need something like... what is it, Earth Glide? Is that right? Are there other ones that I'm not thinking of?"

Anastasia

"That's the simplest," Xandra remarks, "We can investigate, find a way to do this and come back."

Moore nods. "I can cast Wish, which would work... well, on one person."

He makes a face. "Yes, we'll need to find alternative means, I think, unless we simply want to explore some more."
