Alyssa raises an eyebrow as she takes a seat at her desk, "Your magic or this places'?"

"A trinket I have," Dolmaya says, "Made by a wizard who would later try to stop the turn of the seasons so that his kingdom was always in autumn." There's a few moments before, "I had to kill him, but the Inevitables would have done the same, or the agents of the House of Nature who were offended at overturning the natural order, or Auril smiting him for denying winter, or however other many were offended over his foolishness."

"Always bigger fish. Is that what you're here about or Ianvasah?"

[Anastasia]

"Neither and both at once," Dolmaya says, "Sit down."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa is already sitting at her desk.

"Please, continue."

[Anastasia]

"You have an interesting group here, Alyssa," Dolmaya says, drinking up before, "Everyone here is unique, far better than many places I've come to."

[Iron Dragoon]

"It brings it's challenges but nothing ever improved by staying the same."

[Anastasia]

"Tell that to Mechanus," Dolmaya smiles tightly, "Does anything ever change there?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"And does it get better for it?"

[Anastasia]

"They're still going strong," Dolmaya replies, "I'd say they're doing something right."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Sustaining isn't improving, but that's getting into semantics on a long enough timeline. I assume you foresee both strength and conflicts from our... Diversity?"

[Anastasia]

"That's exactly right. It'll be entertaining," Dolmaya smiles, "Don't you think?"

Alyssa grins, "I don't know. I suppose an old lady like you has to look for fun everywhere she can."

[Anastasia]

In that moment Dolmaya chuckles, and you feel it. A connection to her newborn but growing, a connection with her.
