"Speaking of that, we have time now," Dolmaya finishes her cider and stands, "Let's make magic."

"Yes, I've been considering that. Do you know the Nightmare Terrain spell? And how deeply have you studied phantasmal magic?"

[Anastasia]

"I'm familiar with the concept," Dolmaya says, "I've found battle illusions too unreliable to invest much in anymore."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hence the phantasmal part. Or perhaps ectoplasmic would be a better descriptor... Either way, my idea is a phantasmal terrain spell. There void in our last encounter would have been far less effective if we could have layered another terrain on it. If we combine it with a light element, we could use it to control the area as well as impede her servants."

[Anastasia]

"Hmm...Illusions tie more to shadows, so it would be difficult," Dolmaya says, "But that merely means we get creative, because magic has few limits."

[Iron Dragoon]

"If we start with a planar bubble as the base instead of illusion, we may circumvent that. Instead we make it... An imposition of new terrain over the existing. But if we can convert the terrain to some sort of ectoplasm, we may be able reduce the power needed, or extend the range for the same energy.""

[Anastasia]

"So how about..."

Just for my own clarity, do you have an actual and written up spell for this, by any chance?

[Iron Dragoon]

Nope. On the fly right now.

[Anastasia]

In time you come up with an idea for a spell - an outline. "It's still weak," Dolmaya says, "We could invest more into it, expand it."

[Iron Dragoon]

"In what way?"

[Anastasia]

"Add more weight to it and perhaps...hmmm..." Dolmaya says, "Hmmm...."

She eyes the scribbled notes, "Maybe if we..."
