"Then I'll be fine for it, come with me," he says, heading right outside.

You are lead deeper away, to where there is a river and a small lake. The lizardfolk begins to remove his armor, "Strip," he says, "You can use magic if you can't tolerate the water, because it is very cold."

"We're both already protected."

Alyssa begins to take her equipment off

[Anastasia]

Ianvasah does the same - though you note her form becomes a little more gray, indistinct and undefined, like a doll.

Gul removes his armor and plunges into the waters, no reactions to the - GAH COLD! It's indeed icy cold water, but your protections and magic ward you. "Are either of you under a curse or geas?" he asks, getting right to it.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Not that I'm aware of. Shar is targeting us, so maybe she snuck something in without our noticing."

[Anastasia]

"I'll include a decursing,' Gul says shortly, "Now kneel up to your chins in the water and do as I say," he instructs briskly.

Alyssa does so!

[Anastasia]

Ianvasah does as well. As you soak in the cold waters, the moon shines above, light all around you.

"Selune, I ask that you bathe them in the light of the moon," he begins, "Moonmaiden, make your will for this clear." He paces, chanting those words again and again, around you in a circle. He ignores the waters as he does, around and around. "Moonmaiden, make your will for this clear."

Again and again and again. Then Gul stops and declares, "Rise! Dance! Celebrate in the light of the moon! Show Selune joy!"

Alyssa chuckles and attempts to do so without having any skill in dancing.

[Anastasia]

You dance as Ianvasah dances. It's a wild thing - energy comes to you, splashes of water and celebrations. As you do, Gul chants, "Selune, guide them! Selune, cure them! Selune, purify them!"

You feel lighter as you dance, free and clear and ever so happy. A bubbling joy blossoms within you, a laugh to your lips.
