"I... think I need another Word... maybe... something that creates a connection? Or understanding? Any ideas, Moore?"

Moore considers for a moment. "An understanding... yes, I think I can help with this." He says as he starts saying a few Words quietly.

Technically speaking this won't have any impact on the rolls, but he'll use Words of Creation along with Inspire Competence. So she will get +8 to skill checks! But it won't help with the raw rolls themselves. Still, it's the most thematic application for this I can think of.

As Moore works Dolmaya considers it, "Rather than trying to create magic items from nothing - a vanishingly hard task - why not start with a magic item? A field already seeded with gold is easier to find gold in than merely a random field."

"Hmm...  not a bad idea, but I don't have any magic item to... split? Deconstruct? In order to combine with this obsidian to make the rings and necklaces... Unless... the Black Signet ring. I know Emily won't mind that getting deconstructed,  but the magic is evil.  I'm not sure I can purify it in the process."

"We're in a pretty good place for that sort of thing." Moore says. "I can probably handle the purification with some magic while you focus on the forging."

[Anastasia]

"Few places would be better than the light of Chronias," Xandra agrees. She looks up at the endless light from above, Emily doing the same.

Bastian glances before going back down. 'Like they bow before a mage child's mage-light that keeps away the night,' he sends to Alyssa.

Moore will bust out a Wish/Miracle during this to try and make this Black Signet Ring not an awful horrible evil thing while Alyssa forges.
