"This way!" Alicia hurries them over when she spots it!

"Hurry!" Jessica calls, flying along.

Unfortunately Jessica is left behind for the last step but with the compressed space between her and her sister she should still be close enough to be protected by the statue as Alicia steps onto the platform and examines it for magic first of all.

No, it is the Infinite Stair.

It's like a protrusion, of another Stair onto this Stair. A complex dimensional working, beyond anything you have seen, a beauty and form so complex as to be mind blowing to you. Another Stair within the Stair, besides it, connected to it. A moment of alignment with this Stair? You know not, but it is another. Merely stand on this platform and you believe it should take you along with it.

As she digests that, Alicia refreshes some of her spells while the time stop ends and hopefully it remains long enough for Jessica to join her.

What's the architecture like around the door on this platform, any clues from that as to where it might go to?

The architecture is plain, no sign of any decorations around the door at all. It's utterly barren of such things.

Chance to react to that in case it changes your calculus for the rest of your time stop.

Jessica makes it just in time, barely able to get out a, "Sister?" before reality seems to go wrong. There's a sudden, sharp LURCH and you're there and not there at once. Suddenly the Stair has many and varied stairways going in all directions from this platform, though the door is still undecorated.

"I'm not sure what happened," Alicia says at that lurch, seeing it now has all the expected stairs... has it changed location? Are the stairs and platforms that she can see for miles around the same as they were a moment ago?
