"Why do you call it soulriders?"
"Because we grind your souls, hopes, and dreams down ... and ride the wave."

"That's actually not true," Seira interjects. "Io's materials and Antenora's experiences suggest there is little to gain while the risks are considerable. If anything, the risks are lesser for deities attempting the ritual."

"Oh, I see. Okay." Moore nods. "Either way, just a moment..."

Moore is going to finish the song boosters from before, just to be on the safe side.

So that's Inspire Greatness:

+8 Attack rolls, +3 fort 8d10+8 HD worth of HP

It's 8 HD + 50 temp HP. For Moore that's 114, for Xandra it's 122.

In addition, he'll do Inspire Excellence for Strength and Constitution, which will be +8 competence bonuses to both of those. As a reminder, everyone still has the +8 for Dexterity, or should, since they last for 11 minutes.

EDIT: He's also swapping his aura back to Dexterity.

Anastasia

Going to continue on now, y'all?
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

The path stays wider now, easier. On you walk, the path sloping up the mountainside. Ahead is a great thing, a large stone shrine. It blocks the way ahead further, the doors shut firmly. It is of plate stony gray rock, smooth and well hewn.

Corwin

As always, Seira keeps an eye out on the road.

Perception 10 for 105.
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

Seira doesn't see anything awry here.

Corwin

Seira attempts to force the doors open!
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

You find the doors are not locked. Within is an empty space, save for in the center. A stone bier with chains over a vast vortex of white can be seen. No blue fights against it, yet the chains of dark, deep blue hold it at bay. The vortex is pure white and about the size of a large horse or so.

"Well, this seems... obvious." Moore says.

Xandra studies it a time, "It seems safe bound up like this. Are we to free it and destroy it?"

"No, I don't think so," It's Kascha who speak up, coming forward, "This trial is based on the Cauldron, and destruction isn't our first choice. But can anything like understanding be obtained from something of the Far Realm?"

Corwin

"Good advice," Seira tells Kascha, trying to manifest a blue chain from divine power!
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Nephrite

Moore will stand back to watch! Maybe he can learn something about how to affect something from Beyond with his own power.

Anastasia

Just like a chain of iron painted blue or trying to mimic whatever those chains are?
