"It's less looking for a lair than looking for the roving guardian, but I'm fine with swimming," Alicia says. "Are you two confident you can fight underwater if necessary? Remember you can give yourself freedom of movement."

She does that herself! Then makes herself big since there's room here.

Antenora and Syala do so, while Antenora dims her own radiance down and follows. The burrow tunnel is dark but free of ice, if freezing cold. It plunges downward on a slight slope.

How big?

Anastasia

Dear, are you going to stay like that? Stealth and discretion don't mix with you going giant sized.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

Alicia obligingly shrinks down, although she's far smoother in the water than either of them regardless of her size.

Do you really think it makes that much difference to the senses of a child of Jormungandr down here?

It might. Discretion won't kill us - within reason - because we have to save for the Guardian.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

Alicia doesn't reply, but really even if Antenora and Syala are good at concealment it's just not a skill Alicia has so she feels like the effort is wasted regardless of her size.

Anastasia

Anastasia

Swim check too, that's a legit oversight to call for. I'll roll both of them together after this.

Anastasia

At Syala's quiet urging, she'll have Antenora and herself use forestfold through alter reality for +10 to stealth. She'll offer it to you as well. It's attuned to underground.

Syala will also cast mass swim on all of you, which is in the SC and primarily provides a swim speed of 30ft.

> roll 1d20+61 Antenora Stealth
<Penuche> Kotono invokes Penuche's magic: < 63 > [d20=2]
> roll 1d20+14 Antenora Swim
<Penuche> Kotono invokes Penuche's magic: < 20 > [d20=6]

> roll 1d20+16 Syala Swim
<Penuche> Kotono invokes Penuche's magic: < 22 > [d20=6]

Thus you begin to swim in the cold, darkened waters. As you swim, you notice occasional lattice-works of crystal, small little clusters compared to the colony you previously passed. As you pass through them and more, you soon enough come to another burrow heading deeper down. A glance down it shows and open space - and as you do, you see the shadow of movement, a mere glimpse of something big moving below.

Can I get a better idea of what it is from blindsight/tremorsense?

And yeah take the stealth bonus sure.

You can tell it's another of the Children of Jormugandr.

There's another child further down.
