Moore nods. "I suppose another facet is to prepare Hope's Landing for pilgrims and others who may wish to come and visit." A breath in and out at that. "We can work on that. Are there things we're no longer allowed to do? I mean, I understand things like spiritual wounds, obviously, but I don't wish to harm Celestia in some way by doing something I've so often done, but now is... problematic. I imagine eventually that is what mortal heroes are for, but... well, I don't think I can simply sit on my laurels, either way."

Anastasia

"It's a long adjustment," Erathaol confirms, "For now understand that you must strengthen and prepare yourself, so that you cna do far more than any one being, man or divine."

Moore nods. "I will continue to read your book, then. Do you have any suggestions as to how else we go about this? It seems we have a few things to work on, but the first step is to simply begin to spread the word of us, which I'm sure will invite further discussions."

Anastasia

"That is the essence of it. Word and story spread of their own accord once inspired," Erathaol concurs, "A few sparks that will set the tinder ablaze."

Moore nods. "I understand. So, with that in mind...  what changes if I wish to visit another divine realm? Before, I would simply go there and find my way through whatever paths or embassies we may have. I... witnessed Renbuu once entering Lathander's realm, although it wasn't... exactly just him showing up -- either way, is there a protocol I should follow now?"

Anastasia

"Yes," Erathaol agrees, "Go to just outside of one and project your divine will forward. You will receive a reply. A message can accompany this if you like. It's no different than knocking before you enter someone's room."

Moore nods. "Does this extend to places like Brightwater?"

Anastasia

"Yes, but not planes themselves, such as Arborea or Celestia," Erathaol explains simply, answering the question.

Cresiel, mostly silent until now, speaks up. "Why are mortals not made to do such things, through a ritual or some other manner?"

"There are many reasons," Erathaol agrees, a hint of a smile on his face again. "Most mortals or even immortals are of no danger or true threat to the divine. The rare few that are a danger are always watched. The Auroras of the planes, to put it simply. There is little need for such measures unless a realm desires great control over whom enters and exits. Further, the effort involved in a system is not trivial, for mortals lack our capabilities. As deities, we have our own customs among ourselves, many of which prevent unneeded and frivolous enmities."

"I suppose it's the same idea as skipping a line to go directly in, but in order to do so you have to announce yourself at the secret entrance." Moore says with a nod. "Very well, then it sounds like I have some places to visit and favors to ask for."

Anastasia

"There's much more to discuss, but it can wait," Erathaol agrees, "Your learning need not only be with me, not when you have allies."

Moore nods. He turns to Cresiel. "I know we both still have questions, but I think they're ones that we will learn as we go. Do you have anything else for now?"

Anastasia

"Merely one," Cresiel says, "Whom do we visit next?"

"There are a rather lot of people to see, aren't there?" Moore says with a smile. "Considering their impact on Lifasa, I would say Alicia and Seira, if just to make things official with them and express our plans. After that, hmm... It will likely be Brightwater, as I'd like to think we've had good relationships with them and it would be a good branching off point."

Moore nods and bows his head to Erathaol.

"Regardless of what role I have, I will forever be someone who supports you, Lord Erathaol." A smile, and Moore will return Cresiel and himself back to Hope's Landing!

Once they arrive, he rubs his chin.

"I was thinking that maybe I should touch up Hope's Landing itself before we go out onto the stage to introduce ourselves... what do you think?" He asks.
