Shatterpoint is an obscure thing. Little is known about it, only that you know how it gets its name. For whatever reason, rock and volcanic glass are said to explode here. The lethality this suggests may well be why it's not well known.

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "Yes, I understand. Either way, we know where to go and what to do, so it's really just a matter of handling the things that happen from there."

[Anastasia]

Sylvie stands straight and cracks her knuckles. "It sounds like a chance for all of us to go out and get used to being a team. Give me a half hour, I need to make sure Calley's ready for bed and not going to go wander off to another plane if he can't sleep."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods, and will go gather the others so they know what the plan is!

[Anastasia]

This is easy enough.

"So this shatter point," Kaja begins once everyone's gathered. Besides being deadly, what exactly is it? I've seen that new spell of Xandra's, it's deadly enough."

[Nephrite]

"I don't know. It's likely a very violent part of the plane where rock and volcanic glass are constantly erupting." Moore says.

[Anastasia]

"In other words, it's a chance to be torn apart," Cresiel intones heavily. "We must move with strength and caution. We will not fall to merely one, but I doubt there will only be one."

"Those of us with evasive training and skill will do best," Sylvie says now, "Or who are good enough with a shield to block it all. That covers Moore, myself, Cresiel and Jetina."

"Which means we'll be in need of your services, Jetina," Xandra admits frankly. "I see pain in my future."

Kaja sighs, "Chromatic blasted and thrice damned shards."

[Nephrite]

"I'll do what I can to ward us against damage, but yes, I'd be prepared for some cuts and scrapes." Moore says.

[Anastasia]

With a scowl, "Do we know anything else, such as opposition? Anything there will be strong enough to shrug it off, won't they?"

[Nephrite]

"I don't know anything specifically, no." Moore says. "You're right, whatever is there is likely to be fearsome... but I'd be really surprised if we couldn't handle it."

[Anastasia]

"Well yeah," Sylvie says, "Look at us."

"We won't be stopped," Cresiel agrees, "But we may bleed, too."

[Nephrite]

"I suppose I could just go and scout it first." Moore suggests.

[Anastasia]

"Not alone." Cresiel's voice is like iron.

"Not alone," Sylvie says, "I'll go too, since I'm new to the Moore watch rotation. See how close we can get, take a quick peek."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "Then all of you, hold on just a moment."

I don't think he can use his divine will to go there yet since it's Limited Wish, but I assume a Greater Plane Shift will work just fine if he's aiming for Shatterpoint.

[Anastasia]

It's not hard to tell why with your knowledge of arcana. It's not that there was anything blocking it, there just wasn't any surface capable of supporting the three of you at the time, which causes various conjuration spells to fail when that happens.
