High-powered reincarnation magic doesn't hold a time limit, and I've brought Kascha back after millennia of being merged with a plane. This really could work! You'll use-- Alicia said there was a monument with all the names of the fallen, so it will be the focus. You'll try to work it, and Bytopia could try to assist, maybe. We'll help through expressing our domains. Hope, Life, Creation, plenty of them are worthwhile. It can work!"

"In the end we lose nothing by trying," Alicia says, getting swept up in Seira's enthusiasm for the idea.

[Anastasia]

"Actually..." Syala speaks up here. "This is a bad idea." Her voice is steady and firm, "There's one question: If we somehow brought Glittergold back, would that get Ao's attention? We're meddling in affairs we don't understand, and the sort of affairs that might alert him to something going awry."

[Corwin]

"Ao is confident that Shar will succeed, so why would it matter?" Seira wonders. "Besides, Eblis was rescued, and Zaphkiel believes the time will come when he properly rejoins his side. Why would this be seen as a setback, but not all the recent ascensions?"

[Ebiris]

"I understand what you mean, but... I don't think it's connected," Alicia says. "The Arbiter's herald? He told me that the judgement of Daa-vid was one of Ao's distractions. That's why I recused myself from it. If anything, following up on this would just be running along the path Ao would expect."

[Anastasia]

"Alright," Syala says, "Just go into this with eyes open."

"We have to do something," Latha agrees after, "Something, anything, if we can."

[Corwin]

"Let me bring everyone in the know over," Seira says, sending a request for her friends to join them.

"It's difficult for me to tell you this, but while we've been taking Bytopia's existence for granted, we never realized that everyone there was dead, from the gnomish deity Garl Glittergold all the way down to every single petitioner, angel and spirit," Seira says gravely. "If we can do it... if we can bring back even a little, we have to try," Marie says with a firm nod as she joins the group. "We've worked to fix the damage to the prime caused by that war, but the wound on Bytopia is so much deeper."

[Corwin]

"And once we're done there, one way or the other, we have to look at what other blind spots we might have," Seira voices, nodding at Alicia. "Want to take us over to the monument?"

[Anastasia]

"We don't have a choice, we have to do something," Latha agrees, saying it all.

"Getting there was a trial the first time, but it should allow us to pass now," Alicia says, casting a gate there.
