You fly on and on. There's no sign of anything, save for the passage getting narro - there! A dead end. Two vast, glassy spheres are here, clear. You can see outside of the beast's maw from it, and together both sparkle with a faint, electricity laden light as you approach.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"...Eyes?" Moore asks.

Take 10 for 113 on Spellcraft, 118 on K:A and K:P, and using Arcane Sight to get a sense of the magic and what's going on here, if anything specific.

Anastasia

"Eyes," Sylvie agrees as you peer. If you go between the eyes, you can tell they've been enchanted to create a portal.

<Afina> Forever.

Nephrite

"...The Gate of Tears." Moore says.

He steps to go between the eyes, and then will analyze the portal that appears!

Using the actual spell Analyze Portal once it appears!

Anastasia

As you approach, twin tears fall from the eyes. At this the portal appears.

It needs no command word to work.

It can only be activated as long as the wyrm has some semblance of life.

It is a two way portal.

It leads to a sandy shoreline, wild and untamed.

Nephrite

"I'm beginning to think our friend that's stuck here has a relationship to everything else." Moore says.

He turns to Xandra. "Do you get the sense that continuing through here is the path to finding the answers we're seeking for all of this?"

Anastasia

"Yes, Moore," Xandra says, "But I also see that it will be best if we go now, before we're attacked again."

Nephrite

Moore nods. "All right, then let's go." He says, as he goes to head through!

Anastasia

You all then stand exactly where you saw you would. A place at sunrise, a sandy shoreline untouched by the hands of man. White sand and jungle ahead greet you, no signs of anything but yourselves here.

Nephrite

Moore takes a look around to see if he can spot anything a mile away.

Assuming he can't, he will cast Lay of the Land to see if it tells him anything!

Anastasia

There's just empty space and jungle here. However, Lay of the Land reveals a settlement about 3 miles in, deep in the jungle.

Nephrite

"This way." Moore says as he proceeds towards the settlement.

Take 10 for 97 on Perception, 113 on Spellcraft and 118 on K:A as we go just in case.

Anastasia

Are you going to fly above the jungle or push through it directly?
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Let's just fly over it.

Anastasia

As you fly on ahead, Kaja looks about. "It's a demiplane but it's not a small one. The horizon goes on good and far."

"I've heard of demiplanes larger thane worlds," Cresiel remarks, "Not all are small little pockets of reality, and some have become grand places indeed."

"Where anyone can play king of the world," Sylvie concurs as she brushes a stray bit of blonde hair back, "If they have but enough power to realize this dream. Why rely on reality when you can make your own world? Why age and die when you can defeat mortality? So often they're the domain of powerful being who would play at being gods but yet no more divine than a rock on the ground."

"Be cautious," Xandra cuts in, "I foresee we must go ahead and present a united front."
