At least I got a good look at the process, and I have enough of an understanding of the weave to work through what Shar replicated that we won't just be blindly fumbling and hoping," Alicia says. "I can help direct it, Latha's own gift for artifice will give it focus. What else can we add to the process?"

"I'm not sure I'd add anything thematically relevant, but extra power probably doesn't hurt?" Marie offers.

[Anastasia]

"Truth," Antenora says, "The truth is that this isn't Shar's to take, and we'll need to remind her of it."

[Ebiris]

"Kascha? Syala?" Alicia asks. "Do you two want to try assisting as well?"

[Anastasia]

"I'd be glad to," Kascha offers.

"My light should be helpful," Syala says at last, "Yes, I'll help."

[Ebiris]

Then they'll go get Latha and explain the plan to her and see how she feels about participating. She's rather central to the whole thing.

[Anastasia]

Latha listens to the entire plan, "If that is your will, I'll cooperate and lend my strength to it," she agrees.

[Ebiris]

"Well, unless anyone has any extra preparations to make, I believe we can create any necessary materials on site," Alicia volunteers to transport them all outside of Creation, leaving the avatars in charge of Sylica while they're all gone and Jessica's still off chasing down the Man of Winds.

[Anastasia]

Okay, quick and obligatory question of any prep.

There is nothing. No noise, no form, no shape. Only yourselves as you all stand amid it, as if a disruption to eternal, peaceful silence.

Alicia has them all standing in a ring, speaking through divine will rather than with her mouth.

Let us consider what is required. An item to disjoin, a thing that severs one into two. A blade is obvious, but what kind? A sword? A weapon of death and wounding? We won't be using this to strike Shar herself though, only to cut her apart from what she forces herself upon. Perhaps a tool - a saw? Or scissors?

I like the sound of scissors. Snippity-snip, away goes Shar.

I agree with Marie, scissors are meaningful in a way a blade is not here, and simpler than a saw.

Then we agree, scissors it is. Scissors to cut through a false weave that Shar has wrought. Latha, you're the key to this. I need you to focus on channelling our thoughts and energies into something tangible, a real artifact to manifest our combined desires. I will share my specific understanding of Shar's mechanism, and I want the rest of you to focus your wills towards the overall concept of severing and parting. Use magic freely to bolster your wits and will, this isn't like becoming One, it's an outward expression made manifest.

If we're interrupted the rest of us should deal with it so that Latha and Alicia don't lose focus, since they're doing most of the work here. Syala and I will take care of things.

Marie using the logic that as One Antenora's contribution is innately more valuable, and Kascha's scholarly bent will help more with the nitty gritty magic than anything she or Syala can add to the mix.
