These scissors seem capable undoing unnatural bonds, all it takes it to cut something (or a creature/object if it's something that isn't visible or present to cut). Treat these scissors as an exotic weapon that deals 1d6 points of damage, has a +8 enhancement bonus and a dread weapon against Sharrans.

"We'd have to test it, but... I think it's what we need," Alicia says at last.

"I think they'd be useful for a lot more besides. Fiendish contracts, mental domination... they might be able to cut through all kinds of unpleasant red tape," Marie pipes up.

Syala leads out a great sigh of relief, "We'll have to test it," she agrees at last. "Plus hope it's strong enough to affect Shar."

"Yes, but it's more valuable than that. It's a small bit of hope on a day we sorely need it," Kascha pipes up.

"Exactly," Alicia smiles at Kascha. "It's something we've made ourselves out of our own need. We're not helpless nor hopeless. And we'll prove it to Shar next time we face her."

"Next time," Latha murmurs. "Soon."

Okay, you have the scissors. Are you doing anything with them right away?

Nothing too provocative. We'll tell Selune and Mystra and PC allies that we have a potential counter against Shar's new trick and to call on us if they get stuck into something with her.
