"Even that has some limited value. If their entire culture is based on that, imagine the ingenuity. To have any sort of sustainable food source under those conditions? How efficient their construction and industry must be? How well they can train others? The evolution of their fighting styles and tactics? What a wellspring it must be."

[Anastasia]

Emily pauses, "Assuming they don't live as raiders and bandits," She allows, "But that's a good point."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Even if they do, there's still much to learn. If they're that successful to sustain multiple tribes as pure raiders and bandits? Their guerilla warfare tactics must be the absolute best of the best. Their ability to gather intelligence? Organize a raid? If they use Calvary? Their ability cover ground and react to an opportunity? They'd be the best of the best harriers. If you could channel that into the right fight as a mercenary unit? Think of the use."

[Anastasia]

"Alright," Emily says, "You've convinced me it's worth an investigation."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa chuckles, "Who's converting who now? But yes, let's see what we can do about it. If push comes to shove and it turns out that the tribes only want to wage war and they don't care on who? We may be able to arrange something with Jarem or the Red Knight to get them channeled where they can be useful."

[Anastasia]

"I doubt it if chaos is that strong with them," Emily disagrees, "But if they are that good, we should find out how and why, and learn."

[Iron Dragoon]

"That's what the investigation is for, yes. Let's touch base with the others and see if they came up with anything."

Alyssa calls for the others.

[Anastasia]

You get them all together and...

"Emily and I have contact with Helm and Bahamut, respectively and the conclusion we came to was... They don't actively want us involved, but won't bother us unless we try to get the tribes to take dominance of the plane.

From what I can figure out, there's an underlying conflict between Law and Chaos in the plane itself, and the three of them have exacerbated it and turned it into their own little proxy conflict of Law vs. Chaos. So, I don't think we'll be able to achieve any sort of massive scale over-turn of thought there, but... We may be able to still make something out of it.

Right now, I think we should explain exactly what the nature of their conflict is and what it's been used for, then pending the results of our contacting the tribes, establish with them that genocide in general should be viewed as evil and to isolate and channel the tribes. If their culture is entirely martial, then their abilities as warriors must be outstanding. And if they're sustaining a self-sufficient culture in the midst of that, then their industrial efficiency is something to be impressed by. And to learn from. And if it turns out they're entirely based on raiding, well... We may be able to turn them into a more mercenary mindset and Jarem or the Red Knight might be able to make use of them as harriers in conflicts.

[Anastasia]

"A fool's errand," Dolmaya speaks up, "Until we understand more about what causes this."

"Hardly," Bastian disagrees, "Go walk the roads, get a few to walk with us and see what happens," he retorts. "Easy as can be."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods slowly, "Alright. Dolmaya, work with me on researching that. Bastian, start there and see what you can do."

[Anastasia]

Bastian is up and gone in a moment.

Dolmaya joins you, "Very well," she agrees.

Meanwhile Emily nods, "I'll ask a few other people who may know," she adds, "Even if it may cost me a favor."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Only if you feel the need to. You may want to wait until we finish researching into it."

[Anastasia]

Emily nods at that as...

Okay, how are you going to approach this then?

[Iron Dragoon]

I have no idea. We're supposed to be looking into the nature of the plane, so I guess going through the history of it or trying to figure out how it was created.
