You haven't explored or done anything with it yet. It would require some attention to sort out, because as she noted, it is not a tame library.

The simplest solution is more fire. Obvious, but more fire to strengthen it. Anything that can add power to a fire would do, or make it spread. That's generally the domain of Fire, and the question would be precisely what you want out of it.

The best solution would be Pyredust, a product of Fire. It's made by all the residents there and makes fires spread quite nicely and burn hotter. You'd need a lot of it, though.

How much we talking about here, and do I have any idea on price?

A pinch of it sells for about 20 gold. You need a lot more than a pinch. Generally at bulk prices, assuming you can manage that and yes, you can, you're talking about 1000 gold a pound (there's about 500 pinches in a pound). The more the merrier. Your realm could provide a decent bit of it through trade if that's how you want to do it.

So I have no idea of the math involved here, so what would be a 'reasonable' amount for this? 1 pound? 2 pounds? 500?

That's up to you and how much you think you need. As it's a possibly infinite ice sheet, it's hard to hit too much.
