[Anastasia]

Nothing.

It's been blocked, you can tell, and not by mortal level magic. A powerful force indeed wards this, possibly another deity. Most probably, you believe.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa grumbles, then says to the others, "Another deity is blocking me from finding anything out about this artifact."

[Anastasia]

Dolmaya stands there, watching your work. "That's irritating, but it tells us as interesting as it is, it's not our true goal."

"I'd still like to get my hands on what caused it," Emily agrees, "Maybe one of us can get through with a legend lore of our own or another spell?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa shrugs, "Perhaps. There are spells to view the past, which would reveal much in its own way. But Dolmaya is right, it's not what we're looking for. Something for a side project perhaps, but not what we're looking for."

Alyssa taps her desk, "Which means the remaining lead we have is the resurrections. Emily, did you get any more details on that? Which champions rose again and where?"

[Anastasia]

"Not much," Emily admits, "Someone's gone to some trouble to shut people up about it. I've found more dead ends than I like."

[Iron Dragoon]

"That level of interference might be indicative of it not being what we're looking for, too. Still, we should look into it until we can say that definitively. Ideas?"

[Anastasia]

Jarem sits back, "All of this is interesting but it's hasn't gotten us any closer. We need to ask ourselves a question: How do we get the attention of a Guardian? I have an idea."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Oh?"

Alyssa motions him on.

[Anastasia]

"At the bottom of Acheron is Ocanthus, the fourth and final layer. At the bottom of that is a seemingly infinite sheet of black ice. No one knows what's beneath it. It might be time to try poking that bear and see if that stirs up a Guardian."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hm. I don't specifically object. Anyone else?"

[Anastasia]

"It's stupid but the best idea we have at this point," Bastian shrugs, "Why not?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods. "Well, on to figuring out this ice."

[Anastasia]

Any move towards it right away?

[Iron Dragoon]

I honestly don't have any ideas to kick this off.
