"Yeah, but I don't see any sign of him yet," Jarem says, gaze going back and forth.

Alyssa nods slowly.

"Well, we know the range he prefers to engage at now. We can keep a better watch."

[Anastasia]

"If he comes back," Emily says, "I'd love a second shot at him."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods, "For now, back to our investigation. If he is planning to ambush again, that'll be the time."

[Anastasia]

With no sign of it coming back, what do you do as Jarem heals his own wounds?

Alyssa thinks on what might be the perfect counter to infinite ice...

I'm guessing some sort of ever-burning flame thing? I'm sorta running out of ideas since everything's failed so far.

[Anastasia]

As you ponder it, "In theory, a holy flame?" Emily murmurs to herself, "I mean to get through the ice."

Jarem glances back down at it, "Sure, if you can produce one that can burn through infinite ice."

[Iron Dragoon]

"An ever-burning holy flame... Hmm... Or just an ever-burning flame that we can consecrate."

Any rolls to see if I've ever come across similar before?

There's infinite flames on Fire, of course. Endless flames. Not necessarily holy, however.

Otherwise, Raziel is the Lord of the Fifth Heaven in Celestial and has power over fire. That would be the most likely place you can think of.

Alyssa relates this to Jarem and Emily.

"What do you think? Raziel would probably be the best source of information. His power over fire would give us insight into Fire, and he might know of a way to consecrate some portion of it."

[Anastasia]

"That's a good conclusion," Emily agrees, "Oh, Moore knows him and I know Jetina does too. Let me ask them real quick."

"Better than doing it the hard way. I've heard that if you aren't ready, you can spend centuries trying to rise up a single layer of Celestia." Jarem notes.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods, "Well, in any case, unless you two want to hunt that archer down, I think we're done here until we sort the fire out."

[Anastasia]

"Let's go before whatever that is tries again," Jarem seconds, "Emily?"
