"Defense," Sylvie snaps, "Walls and spheres of force around ourselves, now!"

"It's the best idea I have," Xandra agrees, starting to conjure exactly that.

[Nephrite]

"The one time Jetina's antimagic zone spell would be helpful." Moore laments as he focuses on creating a spherical wall of force around them with his divine will!

[Anastasia]

Cresiel utters a word of negation at that, as reality stops.

You stand just inside the First Prison, just past where you fought the nycaloth and his allies. Shreds and wisps of magic flare around you, fading into nothing under Cresiel's prohibition.

Guess who has antimagic zone as a domain spell?

[Nephrite]

"You know, I guess it shows how much more I have to learn that I didn't even think to try antimagic ray or something." A sigh as he rubs his forehead. "Anyway... shall we continue?"

[Anastasia]

"We didn't come on that until just before we put it together," Sylvie shakes her head, "This one isn't your fault, Moore. It's easy for us to forget to consider such things, since we usually see the magic behind them. It's rare to meet a caster who can stop us like that."

[Nephrite]

"Honestly, I'm a bit surprised I was right that it was just illusion magic. I blame my fey heritage for guessing that - but at least we have the most direct counter to it." Moore says. "At any rate, let's take a look around - for real, this time."

Plan will be to look for prisoners again now that we're not in an illusion!

A stumble - the same man as before, red skinned and masked, comes out. Blood leaks out from behind the mask and he struggles to stay upright.
