The cycle of improvement

Am I recognizing this as a dream?

[Anastasia]

It doesn't feel like a dream, for whatever that's worth.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa stands and narrows her eyes, taking stock of herself and her magic.

[Anastasia]

Everything seems normal there. You don't seem to be changed at all.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa tries to impose her will on the place, to see if her power holds dominion here.

[Anastasia]

Nothing happens. It simply refuses you altogether.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa tries to send a message to the others, 'Anyone able to respond?'

[Anastasia]

Nothing.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa taps her foot, then heads out to the balcony to see how far this goes.

[Anastasia]

You go to the balcony. It goes out as far as you can see - by all senses, you're back where this all began.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa furrows her brow and, using her newly acquired knowledge of Chronomancy, focuses her senses to try and detect whether or not any was used.

[Anastasia]

You do not sense any magic like that with your various abilities, let alone any sign of Chronomancy.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa sighs, running through her memory for anything that might match up, while trying to sense if her divine realm exists here or not.

[Anastasia]

Nothing. Just the dawn sky outside, the gentle movements of the waves. It's a peaceful scene for certain, at least on those days when trouble stayed away from this place.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa sighs and speaks out, An impressive trick, Guardian. One I would be interested in learning. I assume a test of sorts, or simple observation and judgement of personality. An introduction, at the very least, is appropriate, I think.
