Alyssa nods, "Go on."

[Anastasia]

"I was thinking Malar," Emily goes on, "Mom had a bit of a tiff with him and he really is against most of what you stand for. You represent knowledge and civilization, he represents the wild anger of animals and nature."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Mmm... The natural world has its place. Has he done anything specific this time, or is this a generalized conflict of ideologies?"

[Anastasia]

"He's evil, Alyssa," Emily says slowly, "He's always 'done something'. Ask anyone who has died at the hands of one of his priests."

[Iron Dragoon]

"So general conflict. Have you done any intelligence gathering on him yet? Identified any targets?"

[Anastasia]

With a heavy huff of air, "Of course I have," Emily says, "I knew you'd ask that."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Learning! Give me the details then."

[Anastasia]

"Well, the faith has cults we could strike," Emily begins, but smiles, "But I was thinking about something bigger. Something worth our time. In Pandemonium there's a wild place where Malar's followers endlessly rage and howl amid the windstorms. It's said to be well hidden but an important part in the faith."

[Iron Dragoon]

"And your plan for this attack?"

[Anastasia]

"A few of us go in, try and provoke a response and shove over whatever Malar sends," Emily says, "That for all his rage he's still an animal that needs to be put down for everyone's safety."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa leans and taps her chin, "Perhaps, but I think we might need a secondary plan. Defeating him and destroying him are two different things. If the plan is to weaken him, then the best way to do so... might be to get him to turn on his own. His rage might make it easier to do it, too. While the core zealots won't leave him, it's possible it could distance him from at least a portion of his followers.

Let's get some information on his deepest grudges. See if we can't pin down things that send him into the most uncontrollable rages."

[Anastasia]

"Oh, that's what Mom did against Imix recently," Emily points out, "But everyone's talking about that, so it may be harder to use that trick right now."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa drums her fingers against the desk, "Well, great minds, I suppose. What about ceremonies? Does he have any coming up?"

[Anastasia]

"Not that I know of, it's not a faith heavy on them," Emily explains, "It's more about the hunt."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa chuckles, "How about something mean? A curse on the hunting grounds so that any followers of Malar constantly alert everything they're hunting."
